  1. That's not what Dreger said. He said that the Jets are still prepared to offer a 6 year $33M deal. The Jets have not made an offer because the Trouba camp won't accept one.
  2. This isn't about money because Trouba's camp won't even listen to an offer. I'm not even certain they would listen of the Jets promised him a spot on the right. Of course Trouba's camp would never admit to that.
  3. And they've got him locked up at a very good price. Anaheim is not trading Lindholm.
  4. You're clearly more knowledgeable than any NHL scout.
  5. No. I mean, what does he provide that we don't get in Connor? I think we need a centre called up.
  6. I completely understand what you're saying. I would add, it depends a lot on who's throwing to you. Nicholls (great guy, great guy) has struggled to hit receivers on the run at times. So, if a receiver is forced to come back or wait for a pass, it could affect YAC. I can also see where this statistic can be important, with the given limitations. A team like the Bombers, who often throw short and rely on the receivers to make first downs with their legs, would see some value in this statistic.
  7. Denmark has consistently had issues with yards after the catch. TDs or not, it's been a knock on him for a long time.
  8. They should put Laine, Ehlers and Armia on a line together?
  9. But they didn't lose you see. They won because it means that they may finish lower than Montreal and secure a better draft pick. Rider math.
  10. The Ballad of Armia... We will sing it for generations... Papa, tell me again about the time Armia singlehandedly ripped the Stars from the sky.
  11. Yeah, I can't even remember who said it and whether it was Friday or Saturday on H&L. "They" said Anaheim was at $5.2-3 AAV and Lindhom's camp was at $5.4. Now that it's been several days and Anaheim resolved of their problem, you would think the deal would be sealed. I guess we'll see.
  12. Reports before this weekend suggest Anaheim and Lindholm are really close to an agreement. Talking hundred thousand apart, not a million.
  13. iHeartMedia (parent of iHeartRadio) was founded in 2008. On January 6, 2016, iHeartMedia announced that the iHeartRadio service would expand into Canada as part of a licensing deal with Bell Media—which, similarly to iHeartMedia, is the country's largest radio station operator. The company described the Canadian version of the service as being a "franchised" operation; Bell will handle Canadian music licensing, marketing, and distribution of the service, and provide content from its properties. Bell also gained rights to organize iHeartRadio-branded events in Canada; the first prominent instance came with the co-branding of an annual awards show organized through Bell's cable channel Much as the 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. The service is expected to launch in mid-2016. The Canadian Serivce became Available on early October 2016 with FM/AM Stations provided by Bell Media and Digital-Only Stations Provided by iHeartMedia. No Custom-Stations or Podcasts are available on The Canadian Service Currently They're delivering Bell Media's stuff online now and through their apps. A lot of promotion on the station recently for it.
  14. We need to match the Lions record over the final two weeks. We do and we host the West Semi-Final. If they win more, they host it.
  15. It's equal. Either way, we just need to match the record of the winning team over the final two weeks. I think the Lions have a better chance of losing at least one to Sask-Sask than the Esks losing to TiCats-Argos. But, really, we control our destiny now.
  16. I doubt that Pittsburgh will have the room given that they're at the cap right now. It would mean finding $1.5M in savings. That won't be easy unless a significant contract goes down injured for some time or if the Jets are willing to take on cap in return. If they could trade Fleury for a low paid goaltender that they could expose in the expansion draft. Unless they have one in the system, already?
  17. Based on TBurg's argument, MOS must be the 2nd best coach in the league, given he has the 2nd best record. Looks like the Bombers have done well to get him and will do well to keep him.
  18. $1.5 mill average. At that time of year, teams only have a fraction of the cap left. Point is, you're going to have a difficult time including him in any Trouba without taking some salary dollar back, like an experienced LHD like I mentioned earlier.
  19. I'm sure O'Shea stays up at night wondering what would Dickenson do?
  20. Very good point about the salary hit on Stafford. Obviously, the Jets would have to take something back. Maybe an established LHD with an expiring (or near expiring contract). Also, that makes Staf harder to move, even at the TD.
  21. And after not playing for two straight weeks, seems like they would be prime for an upset no matter who plays them!
  22. Ah, gotcha. I should stop reading threads bottom up.
  23. Yeah, it's a vacation being injured with the risk of never playing the game again. This whole comment is absurd. I see it's all sarcasm now. My apologizes I wish there was a sarcasm font.
