Can't say I've ever noticed the noise levels so I'm going to go ahead and say no, it's not an issue.
I agree with the idea of getting Nichols or Harris (I'd get them all to do it, but I have an imaginary budget of infinity hours and dollars) doing up a clip for the jumbotron telling fans to SHHHH on offense.
Most of the kinks of the stadium were cleared up last year though ... either that, or I'm way less of an entitled dbag because I don't remember being annoyed at all last year by the poor spelling of the closed captioning or by the lack of full screen replays on the jumbotron.
One suggestion I would make though ... the TVs in the concourse should be playing the live feed. If you want to inundate me with people taking selfies and hashtagging them on the jumbotron, that's fine. But I'm at a football game and if there's action going on, it'd be nice to know that if I'm in the concourse taking a leak or grabbing some food, I'm not going to have to see only every second or third TV showing game action.

A little off topic, but related to the sound system.  I've given this feedback to the Bombers as well when called about customer satisfaction, but I'd like to hear the announcer put through to the speakers on the ramps.  If I'm running late for a game, or something like that, it would be nice to hear what's going on as I'm running up there.  I'm told that those speakers are just for emergency use, but I don't see why they can't use them all the time since they are there.

If anything I would say the music isn't loud enough!...
I like the drum line but as a musician, one of my biggest per peeves is hearing off-beat percussion... they should try to coordinate the drum line to add to the music playing on the PA... rather than just playing a random beat that is completely different than the PA song... probably difficult to coordinate that but just a thought...

“It’s a wonderful turn of events and pretty good fortune to go from being released to now signing with the team that I’ve wanted to play for since I started playing football,” began Miles in an interview with bluebombers.com.
“I was a little later in getting into the game and as soon as I gave up the dream of playing in the NHL, the Bombers and playing in the CFL became my goal. My entire family has Bomber season tickets and my grandma held them for over 40-50 years before she passed away five years ago. The rest of the family has tickets but they are up in the nosebleeds. They may be looking at upgrades now.”
“So I can say Bomber blood runs in our family. It’s perfect, really, to be coming home.”

So before the current drug policy was introduced people were bitching and complaining about the lack of one and now when someone is penalized under it people are bitching and complaining about it. SMH  And no, it doesn't surprise me.

Someone has to explain to you why having not had a much of a chance to demonstrate his abilities isn't the same as being a failure at it?
Why bother?  Your constant use of that word says far more about you than it does him.

For all those that jumped on me for asking a question about the National WR depth.....forgive me but it was in fact a question....and not a statement. I am not familiar with the National WR depth chart, I was a fan of Kohlert and even though he struggled last season I was disappointed to see him go and wish him well. He is a quality guy and think he can still contribute to a team.

Richards might be a bad pick, but that really depends on what he does this year. It is premature to write him off until such time as he actually plays. A little patience would go a long way for a lot of Bomber fans.

because there is no justifiable reason to say hes a bad pick yet.  what if next season he becomes the next Claremont?

the better question is why can't fans wait a bit before passing judgement or consider all factors beyond "omgz hes teh suck cuz he not star yet!"

patience is really something sorely lacking around here at times.  I don't get it, you would think we would all have infinite amounts of it by now.

And in baseball they do play the bottom of the inning no matter how long it takes.
Too bad we couldn't see if the Patriots could then stop the Falcons offence..
Not at all. Both teams have the same chance to gain control..even if they don't win the face off.
Exactly. Where's the harm in this scenario?

I'm not going to argue this because I have zero emotional investment it the rules of the NFL, but if you think the normal play of hockey is the same as sports where teams take turns playing offence and defence as defined by the rules of the game then you are being deliberately obtuse.
You don't like the CFL overtime format because there's no kickoffs or punts?  Fine.  They both suck for different reasons.

Football is the only sport where in overtime the potential for only one team to get a turn on offence exists.
In hockey the comparison would be only one team getting a turn on the shootout.  The other team gets a turn only if they fail.
In soccer the comparison would be only one team getting a chance to take penalty kicks.  The other team gets a turn only if they fail.
In baseball the comparison would be only one team getting a chance at bat.  The other team gets a turn only if they fail.
In all three of those sports, each of the defending teams has a chance to stop the offensive team.  And yet if they failed to do so, no sane person would argue that the structure was fair because "they could have stopped them".  So why is that argument used in football?

It's not similar at all. In the NHL both teams have an equal opportunity to win from the opening faceoff in ot.

Hockey is totally different, it's a fluid game where the action naturally goes back and forth, in that scenario a sudden death format is completely equitable because both teams have a chance to get the puck right off the opening face off, in football though one team gets the ball based on a coin flip. Sure you can say stop them and get your own chance with the ball but to have the potential of losing without ever getting  a chance with the ball is a tough way to lose. The shoot out that the CFL uses might not be perfect but I like it a hell of a lot better than sudden death OT.

You've actually disproved your point within your own post... You're right, Kyle Walters does have a specific QB budget: $X for starter, $Y for the back up and $Z for the third stringer (obviously there's some fluidity to these numbers)... they couldn't get Glenn signed for $Y so they will try to use that money on a different back-up (or split it between Davis and a new 3rd or something, I'm not a GM)... but either way it has no affect on $X budgeted for the starter...
Also, this release doesn't necessarily close the door on Kevin coming back... he may test the market and if there isn't anything else better out there he gives Kyle a call to renegotiate....

If it truly was to make room for Nichols under the cap, they would have made sure to sign Nichols first with that extra room in mind. so that they knew what space would be available for Glenn.  I agree with other posters that it was basically a good will gesture towards Glenn.  Once Nichols is signed, they will know how much room they have left for Glenn or any other QB that they may have in mind to bring in.
