  1. Though I agree with you guys on the quality of the seats in those first few rows, I believe the seats further back (ie. P4) are better value. That being said, it comes down to what you can afford as well.
  2. Personally, I'm a fan of P4 seating... had seats in 207 at the 40-45 yard line for a few years that were great. Moving over to 209 this year, so same spot on the field, opposite side of centre. I like the upper deck because I like to see the whole field and the pricing at P4 is reasonable to me considering how close to centre field I am.
  3. Click on your bracket and edit it... the name is at the top of the page. It uses the name of the bracket rather than your name for the list.
  4. A little off topic, but related to the sound system. I've given this feedback to the Bombers as well when called about customer satisfaction, but I'd like to hear the announcer put through to the speakers on the ramps. If I'm running late for a game, or something like that, it would be nice to hear what's going on as I'm running up there. I'm told that those speakers are just for emergency use, but I don't see why they can't use them all the time since they are there.

  6. If it truly was to make room for Nichols under the cap, they would have made sure to sign Nichols first with that extra room in mind. so that they knew what space would be available for Glenn. I agree with other posters that it was basically a good will gesture towards Glenn. Once Nichols is signed, they will know how much room they have left for Glenn or any other QB that they may have in mind to bring in.
  7. I'd just like to point out that Nichols is actually 4 months younger than Drew Willy, and it was only a year ago that Willy signed the big contract.
  8. I was surprised that Manny was even still in the game. He took a hit a few plays earlier along the sideline where I thought he got his bell rung a bit. The commentators even commented about him limping a bit (which I would argue was more of an uneasiness due to the previous hit). Then he went over the middle and got hit (cleanly) by Loffler and was down for the count. I'm thinking that if it wasn't for the earlier hit, Manny probably pops up from the Loffler hit with little problem and there is no flag. I strongly feel that the flag came out because of how Manny took it and not because of how it was delivered by Loffler. As a few people have said here already, if Manny makes that catch, it's a clean hit to dislodge the ball. Based on that alone, there shouldn't be a penalty because Loffler didn't lead with his head, and didn't hit Manny in the head.
  9. HH to Nichols for his CJOB interview after the game... took the loss all on him and gave an interesting explanation of the first pick and what he did wrong on that play. Never heard a QB explain a pick like that and good insight into something us fans would otherwise know nothing about.
  10. He won one challenge and lost one, so he didn't have any left.
  11. You're absolutely right, all of those other professions should be tested as well...
  12. I'm not saying that my kids are or aren't... the point is that there are kids out there who do... especially kids who aspire to be professional athletes themselves.
  13. It has nothing to do with being performance enhancing, it has to do with setting a good example for the kids who look up to professional athletes. I don't believe that recreational drugs are a good example for my kids to see, so I have no problem with the suspension.
  14. How did they get it wrong? These players are supposed to be role models for kids, and frankly that's not an example I want my kids to look up to. Maybe, like Super Duper Negatron, I'm too much of a square too, but I just don't get how anyone can see this suspension as being wrong.
  15. I would argue that it is when there is blatant holding so our guys can't even get near him...
  16. I believe the glass can be slid out of the way, so the whole suite can be opened up to the outdoors for their suites.
  17. The most frustrating thing that I found was that there was an early pretty obvious missed call that I noticed (possibly on a scoring play), and then a few plays later, the Bombers got a questionable holding call against them... definitely questionable compared to the missed Calgary one. It's really the inconsistency drives me nuts.
  18. Sorry, but I have to ask... when did Canadian Club start making Rum? Pretty sure it's all Rye...
  19. I believe this was discussed a couple of weeks ago, but the generally accepted definition of the red zone is inside the 20 yard line. See Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_zone_(gridiron_football))
  20. Actually, just saw the run again on the TSN highlights and Kohlert was blocking the player on the goal line... Anyways, great win by the team... GO BLUE!!!
  21. I think you're right... that being said, I've always liked Kohlert, so I'm going to assume he made a great block on Harris' touchdown run as well
  22. Kohlert with the pass for a 1st down
  23. They were both definitely in-bounds when Loffler jumped. I was wondering why Carter didn't get a facemask penalty because it looked to me like he had a pretty good grip on the facemask of the other defender who was there (can't remember who it was).
