  1. Interesting how he shares the same DOB as the real Mike Kelly (1958/02/11). And Widener is located in Chester, PA, which is just outside of Philadelphia. It's either him or a pile of garbage troll posing as him.
  2. Looks like a mangled finger on Nichols' throwing hand:
  3. I hope not. I think it's Grey Cup or bust. Hall is the next change if this team can't get it done, IMO.
  4. Argonauts LB Woods could miss today's game: https://www.thestar.com/sports/argos/2017/10/06/argos-keep-quiet-after-bear-woods-sent-to-hospital.html
  5. And like Mike Kelly, he runs his mouth after a loss like a damned know-it-all. But he's nowhere to be found after a win. Saying the team has stood pat really shows he doesn't pay attention, either. Then again, standing pat would still be an improvement over what he managed to do in 2009.
  6. There are no gimme games in professional sports. The CFL is no exception.
  7. So, basically the same as every other team. Another gem of a post from "TheSource"... Comical how you only show up here after the team loses. You're either daft or obtuse, or maybe both. And Masoli was a career backup until this season. The defense put together two solid games going into last night's game and I think we all expected better. That was my point.
  8. Connor McDumDum...? Wow, what a childish comment.
  9. For sure the team's record is despite the defense. It's just that after the last two weeks, it looked like the defense had got itself on track. Then last night, it was the same old same: poor pressure, lousy coverage, bad positioning, and brutal tackling. And that was pretty much from the first snap.
  10. He's terrible. I recall two instances last night where Flanders carried the ball and he called out Harris' name. Poor, poor attention to detail.
  11. Isn't that the second or third time Lankford gave up on his route and the opposing DB picks off the ball? That crap is unacceptable.
  12. The Jets had a moment of silence prior to the home opener on Wednesday for the same reason. Pretty sure it's done out of sympathy and compassion, not patriotism. You know, because people were killed and injured.
  13. He works for USPS in Long Beach, California. (https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/Roberts-inducted-into-Blue-Bomber-Hall-of-Fame-212921761.html)
  14. They pulled a page out of their Guide to Blue Bomber Football, 2012-2015 Edition.
  15. A starting calibre MLB would be great. The play-calling on both sides of the ball was bewildering last night. I just can't understand how a team can play so well on the road one week, and then completely **** the bed a week later at home. I don't get it.
  16. Yeah, but I don't think anyone is arguing that. The issue is how piss poorly the team played last night. At home. A game which, if they had won it, would've locked up a playoff berth and increased their chances of hosting a home game in the playoffs. Instead, they came out flat, got down early, and let an inferior team control the game. Last week it looked as though the 2017 Blue Bombers had turned a corner. Last night, all they did was crap their pants on home field.
  17. An okay outing. That drop was pretty rough, though. He's got potential, which is nice.
  18. https://www.cfl.ca/2017/10/06/landry-cunningham-pace-best-cfl-season-yet/ BJ Cunningham a bright spot in an otherwise dismal season for the Alouettes. I wonder what his contract status is in 2018.
  19. Forgot to post this when it was released last week: Looks pretty damn incredible.
