  1. Rainey is something tonight. Player of the game. Record breaking results. Great individual performance. B.C. Sucks.
  2. Good thing the Denmark call didn't have a significant impact on the game. Occasionally I might be inclined to review the rules of the CFL. That would probably just get me cranked up and angry with the caliber of the refs and command center.
  3. As a result of the large crowd at IGF on Thursday night, the AC/DC concert, what can the Bombers expect as far as revenue from that event? As much as a Home game? Do the Bombers receive revenue from rental of the facility, concessions, partnerships, and parking? Seemed there was a lot of liquor sales, maybe more than a Bomber game.
  4. From FB's Toronto Sun article, Andy Reid of the Chiefs. Reid further explained last Friday, tongue in cheek at first: “I’m a big McGill University fan, but the level of football there isn’t as great as their academics, if you understand what I’m saying. It’s probably equivalent to maybe some of the upper-echelon junior colleges in our country here.
  5. CFL is still a legitimate means of earning a living. There are even players today that will be revered in the future. Not as dynamic and prevalent as the big business of the NFL, the CFL stil and with new stadiums etc. remain relevant. Fan Boy, your stat and for greater certainty, are you saying that there are 9 CIS alumni currently in the NFL? I'm wondering how many Canadians, schooled in the U.S. Play in the NFL? oops 7 is the number at beginning of season (from CIS twitter feed) This article says 13 Canadians altogether. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/09/08/profiles-of-the-13-canadians-on-week-1-nfl-rosters Thanks FB. The best info that I could come up with was 14 Canadians in the NFL. But it must have been old info as it still had Muamba and Idonije listed as players.

  7. TLB you are absolutely correct. Your view is a legitimate concern for the organization. Players may have more ambition and only want a one year, while others might prefer a multi year deal. Both scenarios are options. In the end, if the Team and Player agree to terms, are within accepted practices recognized between the CFL and CFLPA can anyone else have a decision in the matter? It may not be fair, to all parties for the NFL to have a hands off approach concerning CFL players.
  8. If he is a Christian, I would be worried. Why?You've never heard the claims about Christians being thrown to the lions in ancient Roman times (it never actually happened but lots of people think it did). And Henoc is a devout Christian. Christians were, in fact fed to the lions at the colloseum in Rome, along with other captives from foreign lands, criminals and rebels. Animals were also pitted against each other as well, and gladiators fought each other, too.But the "Christians" got their revenge. When Constantine converted to Christianity (sort of), and made it the official religion of the Roman empire, the newly minted Christians cheerfully began to toss pagans into the arena. The more things change, the more they remain the same. From what I've read, there are no genuine records indicating Christians were thrown to the lions in the Colosseum. Why would they build the Colosseum then? For U-II and UB-XV concerts?
  9. Simmons, Nichols, Cole, Boyd. Walters hasn't hurt himself.
  10. It's more likely you're looking at the guy we view as our potential development QB.Yeah, he is young. A first team All American and a Heisman candidate. Reasons to like his potential.
  11. Bass just ran out of steam, that's common with football players, they're so focussed on the explosive short range speed a lot of them really suck when they have to maintain that speed over a distance. This, and after the game he said he was watching himself on the big screen so he knew there was no one within 20 yards of him. He didn't have to do a wind sprint to score. Good info. So Bass was slower. My point was, that Bruce Johnson is fast and that he has some career highlights and winning experience at a high level.
  12. Not totally new players but Bass' pick 6 was a great play. However, he sure seems slow getting into the end zone. What was noticeable is that is own player, Bruce Johnson blasted up the field to escort Bass for the score. I did not know this and just learned but Bruce Johnson scored the first defensive touchdown in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. He has also won an NFC Championship and has a Super bowl ring. He's recognized as having burning speed.
  13. Nichols made a positive impact with the team last night. Muamba probably wouldn't sign here and if he played I'd say he could not have had the significant impact that Nichols did.
  14. Gentlemen. In exactly five days we will be one hundred billion dollars richer! Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Hoo
  15. That's not entirely true. I do know how to count.
  16. What a loser. That guy will be broke in no time... Next thing you know he'll be inventing some sort of crazy poop water.... Aluminum siding. Next big thing. You heard it here first.
  17. And he's 54 years old. Didn't know that. Fricken Walters!
  18. Doesn't sound like Nichols has many starts in pro football. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Nicholls
  19. I've been hearing they are coming back in a rival hockey league. They plan to sign a big name from Chicago and a bunch of other players that are from Winnipeg.
  20. Heard that Mike Riley might be looking for a new job.
  21. I shudder to think of next week. but expecting a win. that green team is still pretty useless.
  22. Dear douchebag, I'm not in the habit of pissing my pants. If you like though, I can fly up and give your wife her first orgasm ever... Of course it's not a habit. It's your characteristic. Your too drunk. You'd never get it up.
  23. Last year, MOS first year, he began training camp by chucking people's cell phones from their hands, blasting dumb mistakes, essentially trying to set the tone to get all staff focused. Seems to me he's digressed and now wants to be a players coach. He needs to get some gumption and and get folks to wake the F up. The locker room knows this. No one on this squad is getting in anyone's face because they see the coach(s) aren't pushing. It's MB. He's an underachiever.
  24. Someone call his wife (for the hundredth time). Pissy pants has already wet himself (for the hundredth time).
