    No one is trading away the #1 overall. Heck EDM would trade Hall/N-H to get Matthews. 4 or 5 for Tkachuk. Jacob Chychrun might go higher depending on who needs a d-man more. The LHDman Chychrun could go as high as 3 in my books.

    FLA went to the finals in their 3rd or 4th season. Def. a good start but it was the late 90s so take it with a grain of salt. I agree about the 2-3 core guys comment.

    But they always come back. We've had 20+ years of only the US teams winning. We had 10 years of US teams outspending Canadian teams to buy the cup. We've had ticket prices increasing, work stoppages... Canadian fans are very forgiving.

    Hutch was okay. I thought Lou made tougher saves. Any time a goalie uses his stick to knock the puck away from someone(Perreault) you know they are good.
