  5. Elgersma bad, fan opinion good.
  6. I am skeptical about Calgary. Attendance dropped while the team was good. This city is a bunch of fair weather fans.
  7. Yet, wasn't good enough for Team Canada.
  8. Elgersma's agents as well as the wee lad himself obviously think they are too good for the Bombers & the CFL. With that kind of thinking by the kid's entourage what could possibly go wrong? Just one effed up football career. If Elgersma doesn't play in the UFL but continues to try out for NFL teams instead of coming here then it'll be time to trade the hoser's rights away to some other suck..... errrr..... CFL team.
  9. And yet all I ever read about Coach Buck was that they all worked together... The entire QB room plus Buck... To design the playbook. So that seems an odd quote...
  10. Insert previous OC under the bus?
  11. Sorry, I forgot to mention, a MLB expansion team. Bringing back the Expos. It would be a shared stadium with MLS, baseball & the Alouettes. Capacity of 35-40000. Stamps fans especially were spoiled. I still don't think the Stamps are that good. Lots of holes to fill.
  12. "This is kind of my first time really doing it, being able to work this closely with a coordinator,” said Collaros in a media Zoom call from Hamilton where the Canadian Football League is holding a content capture event. “So being able to watch Tommy’s process has been really cool for me." This was from Ed taits story. About Collaros/condell working together again. Found this comment Interesting.

  15. Halifax? Did AI build them a stadium also? Predicting us to win this season sucks. Likely means we don’t.

  17. No. I don’t think so. I think they are the home of the tsn and sportsnet tho. The leafs biggest problem will forever be the media in Toronto. We don’t got that here. We at 954k ppl. Toronto has 7 million. I think our expectations are a cup just like Toronto’s. I just think we are more realistic about it. A Canadian team hasn’t won since the 90s. I mean we haven’t technically won a cup in 15 years right. Cuz that’s when our team became our team. Toronto hasn’t won since the 1960s. Also firing gms every 2 or 3 years doesn’t work.
  18. 4 Sask wins in 39 years... that's a wet dream for Rider fans!
  19. Next two years sound great but I don't love the decade of darkness that follows....
  20. Teams that don't exist and likely never will winning the Cup too. Its amazing.
  21. AI will be controlling the gene pool by then.....
  22. Predicting 50 years from now is an amazing feat of AI. I mean to know how rosters shape up in 2071 with players not even born yet is downright amazing.
  23. Confused as to why I'm not seeing W as the predicted winner for every year for the next 50 years. Weird. Knew AI was a joke. This proves it.
  24. My key point is that this year is his best shot at getting the team to commit to some development runway. If he doesn't come North this year, we cannot wait around and must pivot away from him IF we have a better candidate to develop.
  25. So when does Elgersma find out if he can obtain a work visa or not....Certainly seems like a lot of dithering around with this guy...IF his playing in the UFL hinges on the visa, you would think the powers that be down there would expedite his request...For all he knows this could be a very long belabored procedure and his future hangs in the balance... I hope to hell his agent has the sense to at least approach our organization and give us something to go by, as the clock is ticking down...The whole handling of this kid is looking shoddy at best...
  26. The thing that I question is expectations. It seems that the Toronto Maple Leafs have higher expectations than the Winnipeg Jets.
  27. Wilson def needs to show this camp he has taken the next step and has advanced.....If he hasnt...I could see him losing the 3rd spot to Thorne who we may see as a legit development guy like we had in Brown. Has the makeup of a real good CFL style QB As for elgersma....he has wasted 2 valuable yrs now of development...and longer he pisses around he is even further behind in any realization of potential. If he balks all yr again...and in meantime we find a legit guy who shows progress and development thru the yr..that.. and or sign a already established guy in the 2027 FA period...I'd trade him away pronto as if he finally came in 2027 after 3 yrs in the abyss...he aint gonna be your answer anytime soon...and if handed it just cause we have a lil chub over a Canadian QB which I feel is irrelevant and pointless...expect several yrs of scuffling as a team
  28. Expansion team for what?....and a shared facility is totally not a bad idea...I agree Yeah Edm and CGY not too concerned with in regards to support...they get back to winning....and CGY gets some better facilities....they both be fine....Both tho are fair weather fan cities for sure tho
