  2. I could see CHI taking a flyer with near-zero talent left on that team. Would not offer more then min wage considering they already paid him 120m.
  3. But my opinions are great. Just ask me.
  4. I'd love to see Bailey get some development time, but I really don't see the big deal if we go Weitz over him. Anyone saying that one has more value than the other to our roster isn't really basing that on anything other than opinion. We haven't seen either play enough to know.

  7. He'll play center linebacker!
  8. …or give him 2 quarters against our D, so that we can release the hounds on the Faj.

  10. Maybe Bailey isn’t good. He didn’t exactly jump off the page to me in the preseason games and he’s in one of the easiest positions to do that even with poor camera angles. He has a bit of an advantage to stick around being Global but maybe he’s not very useful on special teams either. Maybe he’s Big Sky’s Faith Ekakitie.
  11. I predict Hervey gives Ford 2 more games to produce a win before Fajardo gets the start, no reason to dig a giant hole they can't climb out of so early in the season. Killam will go along with whatever Ed decides, that's his job.
  12. Likely counting an arm right at the line on the TD run. To me if he had a crease he hit it, if there was muck he got a couple yards. Which is fine…but he’s the type of back that really needs the OL to move bodies. So if we’re rolling with him for some games here, keep that OL together. Pass protection was also flawless. To me this is an unnecessary risk. I hope Wallace is great, but we’re down to Eli too if someone goes down and he has never shown well playing anywhere but tight end.
  13. Jones is one of the best run stop lbers, but well below par for pass d. Kyrie is shot. Jones isn’t close to the heap pile guys. He’s just sub optimal. Best case is probably tj plays run downs comes off in most pass downs unless it’s short distance. Jjones is better straight up. &nbsp It’s just strange to get jjones and be married to tjones.
  14. J,Jones has played better than well before in the CFL....and did so in our pre-season....Guess I should have said definately would as opposed to could as now you are nitpicking And its not an opinion...I have had some people within the league ask me if Jones was hurt and why he not on active roster...or if it just a case of coaches preference....as it's insane he not I not worried about Wallace
  15. Wallace played the majority of 2 games last season when Neufeld and Stan went down, one was against Hamilton the other may have been against the Riders. It was supposed to be Eli, but Wallace took over and did fine, nobody overpowered him or blew his doors off.
  16. You can't possibly know that, and that makes it your opinion vs fact. That's how opinion vs. fact works, COULD BE being the operative word. Tony Jones played very well last week.
  17. PFF has Peterson marked down for 88 yards after contact https://www.cfl.ca/2025/06/16/5-pff-stats-that-stand-out-from-week-2/ Who knows how they define contact though
  18. nor do you to the contrary....it' hardly a far take.....just watch him....You always pump Osh's yires that he does no wrong and anyone who disagrees with it is far reaching or lacks any substance Jones is a good line backer....do you not want better?...If you put the both in a bowl and asked every G.M to pick one...I bet they all go J.JOnes...and thats just not "my" opinion Carry on and weitz zero....nuff said But Bailey would get more than 6 as he has been with many others too...which means not much other than Osh has guys he likes over the guys who could be better
  19. From recent comments O'Shea seems pretty happy with Tony Jones play.
  20. Yes. I agree on that potentially being a rostering mistake. However, I will wait to see what Wallace does in case the coaches know more about these two players than I do. From a fan perspective though, it seems odd. Coaches must really love what Wallace is bringing in practice? Bailey would be a half a dozen snaps max. Won't be a difference. I do get what you are saying that we could probably change a couple or three spots on the roster and upgrade them ON PAPER, but really at this part the depth chart I am willing to let the coach reward guys etc for work ethic etc. Why? because it won't really have much, if any of an impact anyway.
  21. Bailey tho wouldnt be a bottom of roster add tho...He would be a rotational piece on defence...as well as depth at a position we only have 2 guys rostered...both over 30 for that matter....thats the difference Of Weitz is taking rotational depth or comes in for injury....we are in a bad place That"s my issue with not rostering our best rosters...same with receiver...we have a National who was knicked...a back-up in a rookie Canadian with zero experience...and then........crickets....
  22. Don't know if Wallace's contract is up this year, but keeping him a Bomber for the next 5 years is critical to the future success of the O-line, more so than any current player IMO. Might have to push Neufeld or Stan out the door next off season if they want to keep Wallace, Randolph and Vanterpool as the next generation.
  23. I sense a Rolex may be in David Gustafsson's future in exchange for #19.
  24. This is a pretty far out take. You may like J.Jones better but you don't have to make up **** to justify it. T.Jones is a good linebacker.
  25. Here’s what I don’t like: OL is 70 snaps a game and literally the heartbeat of your team, protecting the most precious assets of your team and creating your ability to score points. Special teams…I’ll never discount the importance…but 15 plays a game and really we have the bodies to have a solid unit without Ayers. Nuts to me to change the OL from last week. They dominated that game and Vanterpool specifically. Peterson had almost no yards after contact and ran for 130. BO had another 50. That’s the kind of decision that could easily lose you a game.
