This off season was like buying a loaf of stale bread. The excuse to not spend money in free agency & blaming the CFLPA looks petty & stupid. They have to be calld out for that.

yeah....that place is a lawsuit waiting to happen...hopefully they can rectify things there with a new stadium or some kind of wholesale overhaul...I hear its close to a sell out there??

No, watching the game at home. I have mobility issues. I can go to games at PAS but I stopped going to Stamps games 3 or 4 years ago. Too hard to get around. Steep stairs with no handrails for balance & safety. I have to stay in my seat at halftime as it's too much of hassle to get to the lower concourse where the concessions & bathrooms are. Too far to walk with a cane where we used to park our car. Just a ******* old barn that should be torn down. Eisenhower was President & Diefenbaker was PM when that place was built. In Winnipeg, we have two elevators, upper & lower concourses & the grandstands don't have 60 rows to climb.

can't wait for the first shift in a Jets/Canes game and we see someone go near Nikolaj and watch him flop down like he's been shot. Kinda tired of that move...but never tired of this:

I definitely would have given Ehlers that deal and maybe more, but he clearly wanted out. He believes he's a top line player and he apparently doesn't like the fishbowl. Whatever... As mentioned, he seemed like a nice kid, but he was never healthy for a full year. I'm not heartbroken over this.

Why would they pay a 60 point player the same as a 90 point player? Do people pay attention? He wanted out. Nothing was keeping him unless you guaranteed him top line minutes and paid him as much as our actual stars. There’s so much bs today like ppl saying he was the best player In the playoffs. Yeah 3 even strength points in 8 games is just rock star. Jesus. Ppl need to stop pretending Ehlers makes a difference for us or for Carolina. He doesn’t. We have 10 seasons of him underperforming when it matters most. Wish him well but stop pretending he’s worth the same price as Scheifele or Helle. Ppl go back to the tying goal against St. Louis and are like without Ehlers, it doesn’t happen. Really ? Cuz what happened 30 seconds prior? Or 15 seconds prior. He flubbed the puck out the zone then flubbed a one timer. 3 even strength points. Also took a dumb penalty. But ya 3 even strength points. If you paid attention it doesn’t hurt at all cuz all the rumors said he wasn’t coming back. He was never coming back. Jets knew it a week ago even. He wanted anonymity and top line minutes.

Yeah. Their D is good especially in the front 6. And their ol/run game is really good. They, like us, missed the boat on the next wave of young QBs though. I think it’ll be another coaching change and a younger than dirt qb before they are front runners again. But that, could start to happen in the off season. I don’t think mace will get tons of leash.

That hurts cause you have to think the Jets were same amount over 7yrs.

The Stamps secondary has played well so far. VA is a solid QB. VA has Offensive Interference Rhymes to toss the ball too.

I definitely think the Stamps are better than the Riders... For the simple fact that VA is a better QB than Trevor Harris at this point. Now, having said that, Beggleton is a huge loss for them on offense. At any rate, it's the Bombers and then everyone else way down the list.

FYI. Rourke is good to start against the Als.

True about Canadian leadership (an oxymoron if I ever heard it). He’s basically going to the 2018 Jets, a highly skilled team with some flaws on D.

It's not like we have it so great up here right now for leaders either. I thought expressing your feelings was healthy...thanks Nik for all ya done, but I think it's good for you to move on. Carolina is a highly skilled team and you'll fit in well there.
