Truthfully didn’t watch Vaughters much and I missed one of the plays Bonds got burnt on. Saw Kyrie get lost in pass coverage a couple times. Gauthier got washed out at the LOS a handful of times. Didn’t think much of Parker at all at safety today. Kyrie to his credit had a couple moments where he shined as well.

Vaughters was very meh vs the pass. Think we'll need a little more something off that edge with Jefferson playing his game. If Vaughters can't do more than Garbutt....have to put someone else in there or get some reps to someone else like Bailey to find a spark. Bonds got victimized twice and Parker once...that was like 2/3rds of Rourke's passing yards on those three plays.

Full team effort tonight. All 3 sides of the ball. Vaval is lightning in a bottle. Wheatfall is turning into a star. On defense...well, did Holm get a pass thrown in his direction? Didn't notice him which is usually a good thing. We won without our starting QB and RB. Rourke completed some passes where we were in good position but just misplayed it a bit. Looked easily correctable. Would say the score flattered BC. Go Blue

I thought the only people who had a less than good game were Kyrie, Parker and Gauthier.

who had a bad game on O? I saw Kolankowski whiff a couple times and lead to streveler taking a big pop at least once but otherwise it looked solid top to bottom. Think all the receivers had some catches, nobody RB looked solid, Streveler looked good... the play calling seemed real solid.

Saw a couple great blocks from him, and wheatfall really feasted playing off schoen. Every one knows how talented he is. But I don’t think most people realize how scrappy he is. He blocks his butt off on every play he can.

Would love to see isolated video of Schoen through the course of the game. Intrigued at.how he was used, as both a blocker and decoy.

Bottom line is there were a hell of a lot of guys with standout games tonight and that is an amazing things IMO. What a statement to open the season.

Person is a true edge rusher...and in U.S was used in a 4 linebacker set on the outside.. but that's also cause he athletically gifted...he's that rotational end that would compliment WJ and Vaughters perfectly..plus he could also drop off into coverage We really need to use 3 Canadians on the oline cause it's raping a key guy from our defence

I think Pierce will play Rourke unless he can't throw at all. It's 9 days away. Enough time for treatment everyday.

Masoli literally just took the snap, turned his hips and threw some wild pass. He looks like he can't move at all. I'm not sure how anyone would put him out there.

I loved the iq he showed and how he beat his man around the edge then bursted into the kr on that play. He’s soo crafty and explosive it’s great to watch. I thought mci had a bit bigger pop but either is a good pick. I like tony jones but he’s limited. He’s a run stopper and a teams guy. Too much of a liability in pass d. yep griffin had a gooder again. Vaughters could’ve been an honourable mention too. Having Lawson adams and him really freed up Willy and adams. That’s the difference between him playing every defensive snap and 3rd most dt snaps. Still useful if he’s limited. Very excited from what he showed. Some great passing concepts. Really gave Strev a playbook he could succeed with. Can’t wait to see him with zach next week.

Interesting that in the rematch next week on the left coast it’s prob Zach vs Masoli. Wonder if we see an air show next week. I feel Zach has the chip on the shoulder again.

The BC offense looked a lot like some of the Bomber offences over the last few years. Big difference is they have no Brady and no Zack.
