  1. Past hour
  2. We should start using the tablets on the bench to assist the referees with consistency. So next game when one of our players goes Schenn on a Blue player we can call up yesterdays hit to say yup give us 2 minutes interference please.
  3. Ridiculous. And one thing we know we can expect from these officials is not being consistent…. Except for consistently giving us the short end of the stick.
  4. You can't gain anything from that observation based on what we gave him to work with...scheme...and not running anything in practice in that BB... Lots of games last yr as well ZC accomplished nothing other than giving ball away...and that was an offence tailored to him...and taking all the reps Drew brown looked like hot garbage a lot in the beginning but was allowed to grow as an actual QB..Strev was never afforded that here...ever Cherry picking one game when have no clue whatsoever of what all the circumstances involved were proves nothing..and was pretty obvious all yr..last 2 really that we couldn't make any adjustments on the fly or in game for the most part it our life depended on it...or how to best use our personelle He was only a SY specialist here in his late part of first tenure and the idiotic role we had him play last yr...if Brown was all that and a sac of plums he'd have been on a 4 yr nfl journey ...was he? Strev was failed by Bomber coaching...plain and simple...almost ruined Getting looks...or no looks in NFL at times is an odd experience.. some is political..some is black listed...some is just pass the visual "appeaeance" Lenius..KSB and that wr from last yr wave and say hi If a QB gets significant preseason play..gets on roster and in actual games...and bounces around for 4 yrs...there is a reason for it...especially a CFL detector as sadly they are victims of politics and bias' moreso than any other positional player who was in Canada first...
  5. That's exactly it... if faj can be a starter there is 0 reason streveler can't. He was a much better prospect coming in as a passer than faj, has a better arm and a better attitude and showed insanely more as a rookie than faj did.
  6. Yup, Friedman reported on it today. Taken from hockey feed: 'NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports this morning that there will be NO supplemental discipline coming as a result of last night’s game'. So moving forward, Jet players should expect a 2 minute minor for interference on similar hits on Blue Players just for consistency of course.
  7. That is what he's accomplished in the past but I'd hope for a lot more from a future starter than struggling to win half his games, re-watch the second half of the Banjo Bowl, he was unable to move the ball the entire half on the ground or in the air, the Riders keyed on Brady and didn't worry about his vaunted arm. You've got blinders on if you're comparing him to Fajardo in ability or accomplishment, he can't manage a game near as well as Dru Brown could in his second season with the Bombers behind basically the same offence. He's a SY specialist that usually ends up on the 6 game IR due to the reckless style he plays and I don't think he'll ever amount to anything more than that.
  8. I believe in him as well. But the offense he needs to be successful and the one that fits Collaros style are extremely different Streveler is more RPO, less vertical/drop back style and I think he can be very useful if he stays healthy. But that's the rub. No one is going to bank on him playing 14 or 15 games in a season. I hope we make use of his skills generally even if he's not the starter, and that we don't have him running wedge plays. Build that run/RPO package for short-yardage around his skills.
  9. What you think will be the reason?
  10. I would not be shocked if Strev is outright released after TC.
  11. Bombers signed two free-agent Canadians on Wednesday in McMaster receiver Nick Adair and Montreal centre Alexis Lévesque-Gallant 4 Blue Bomber CFL/Global Draft Takeaways - Winnipeg Blue Bombers Lévesque-Gallant, Alexis - Football Nicholas Adair - Football - McMaster University Athletics
  12. 5 yard average is starter material. He had the unfortunate luck of playing behind amazing backs.
  13. Today
  14. Schenn and Faska are having their way with us and it seems there is not much we can expect from the referees so score goals save pucks and shut them up.
  15. You said Regardless and then capitalized I JUST VOTED like you think it’s the same thing. I dunno. But it’s not. I dunno. Maybe you’re confusing.
  16. Ok yeah. Comedy making a return but rock? Like the acts are in rocking chairs right cuz certainly no new rock worth a lick.
  17. That doesn’t seem like a thing the trinity would prob be ok with and honestly, I’m good with their choice there.
  18. I think it’s safe to say 1. Zach 2. Strev 3. Open.
  19. Update: nhl ain’t even looking at it
  20. Yea...most of our QBs in this league had good NCAA careers. They may not be the cream of the crop that goes to the NFL but many make a pretty decent chunk of change in college now. Any QB on a decent Div 1 team is cashing some nice cheques.
  21. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/connor-hellebuyck-leon-draisaitl-nikita-kucherov-named-hart-trophy-finalists-1.2298780 yup. He’s setting guys up lots tho. I think he could easily be point per game if his line mates were finishing some of the chances he creates for them. He’s been good for a young one. I actually think they should try him at center next year. He has those qualities. Strong 2 way player. ?? Perfetti Ehlers ?? = unknown LW but prob have to be a bigger guy cuz Fetts and fly are both smaller. Iafallo maybe fits there. Not big but does all the dirty work. Although ideally Tanev Lowry Iafallo becomes a shutdown defensive type line. Cuz all 3 are very good defensively. That’s a shutdown line there for sure. Perfetti Names Ehlers tho were killing it before Niks injury. I thought our best line most nights even.
  22. yup....allow him to get his stuff in order....put in the legit work and come back with a nice chip on his shoulder to prove himself...I wish we had went with him....
  23. agreed...at worst ....he can be Faj when Faj plays that odd game outside his ability....at best I see him as a Tracy Ham type....that tho has to be allowed to be an actual QB and with a Co-Ordinator that isn't stuck in a box and has no clue how to use players.....Realistically I can see him as a more polished Kerry Joseph....a guy who will lead and have guys go thru a wall for him...as thats what he is gonna do...and give you more wins than losses and a guy who can take a game on and pull out a win from time to time on his sure will alone....Camp should be tres' interesting
  24. Sure but his linemates can’t do anything about the need for him to finish his grade a/b chances. I’m not trying to be hard on the young man, loads of talent, but we really need him to produce if we plan to go deep into the playoffs this year.
  25. 🎵You gotta have Hart, all you really need is Hart, when the odds are sayin' you'll never win that's when the grin should start🎵
