Tony Jones could be upgraded on, no doubt about it, but I don't see anyone in house that could take over his role...full time anyway. We should probably start platooning him though...on that we agree. I don't mind Woodby or Smith in passing situations coming in but I think that Jones is a superior run stopper to both of them. Woodby I don't like at MIKE because he seems to get lost in the wash in the tackle box. His strength is on the outside edges of the LBer corps where he can excel. Kyrie, and I believe you and I discussed this at length a couple years ago, I've always liked at MIKE. However, he does have a harder time against bigger backs in this league and that seems to be the direction all the teams are going now. I think on second and long situations any of Woodby, Smith, Kyrie and possible even Shay might represent an upgrade. In all honesty, I thought that JSK had a real legit shot at being our starting MIKE this year, and I believe that is where he was brought in to compete. Unfortunate he was injured.

Actually, I think you're right. I believe it was JSK that was non-contact. Accurate.

Last time he was good, Jake Thomas was a serviceable player.

I still remember Strevy in the Grey Cup 2019 climbing out of the pile after a run and swearing a blue streak and giving Wynn a kick for his dirty play, and getting a 15 yard penalty. Dooooosh bag. Wynn sucks.

Dennis Hull did the Brandon Wheat Kings sportsman's dinner each year for a lotta years. My buddy's dad was an auctioneer who got invited every year to auction off items at the event and Hull was hilarious at that thing every time.

First time I ever entered one was the MBB last year and I had a lot of fun and once caught on how everything worked thought I did quite well. Joined the OB one and one other Bomber one but since I follow this page and contribute occasionally thought it would be cool to see how I do against the experts here! If we get 10 or more players I might just get a yearly trophy or plaque made up and send it to the winner along with some kind of Bomber merch or gift certificate.
