  1. Past hour
  2. Most qbs are a little younger like late 20's & the early 30's. Thinking about Rourke in BC, Alexander in BC & Adams in BC. I think the Riders, Hamilton & us are the most vulnerable if Harris, Collaros or Mitchell go down. . But even the Riders have Maier who would be a good transitional qb to another long term starter. Hamilton has Taylor Powell who has shown flashes that he can play in the CFL but Milanovich won't give him even a little bit of playing toime so will he stay there or go elsewhere? Could we entice him to come here if we can't sign Elgersma? The Argos have Kelly & Arbuckle but I think Nick will be playing somewhere else, but where? The Als are set for years with Davis Alexander....
  3. He's played in 16, 18, 17 games in the last 3 seasons. As a Blue Bomber he's played in 112 out of 126 regular season games since joining us. 89% seems higher then most other guys?
  4. they have McDavid & Draisaital. And a second & third scoring line. We got Connor & Scheifle & not much else.
  5. Which CFL team has an heir apparent in place for their starting QB right now?
  6. Except Streveler right
  7. Yesterday
  8. All the woulda, coulda, shouldas...
  9. The alternative going forward without him isn't very promising. We have no succession plan. We had years to get that done & didn't.
  10. Hope it's more than a depth signing. As in Center.
  11. I mostly agree but aging and repeated injuries have created a circumstance where absolutely everything has to be just so for Collaros to be effective, and I remain unconvinced that this is going to happen in 2026.
  12. There's qualified coaches out there at the U Sport level who could come up & be great DL coaches who never get a chance. They languish hoping for an opportunity to coach in the CFL & Osh gives an important coaching position to Thomas. like it's nothing. Just one of his Boyz with absolutely no coaching experience. Just cuz he played (debatable) doesn't mean he can coach. Mind boggling.
  13. I love Demski's work ethic and fearlessness, but his pattern is of increasingly injury-prone and longer healing times. I fervently hope Walters & Co. find a replacement and soon.
  14. Have we really moved on from Thomas, though? His so-called pass rush was pure and repeated bull rush. If that failed, he was useless as he had nothing else. That said, how can he teach techniques he never had? I see this as O'Shea giving the finger to his critics.
  15. I hope he's back & we sign him for 2 years.
  16. I like Justin Hardy. Consistent 1000 yard guy. How about someone like Dejon Brissett? Big target, Canadian, makes a lot of plays. Nearly 1000 yards last year. Seems like a good fit for Zach. Hardy, Demski and Brissett play the slots. Wilson plays WR where he seems to excel. Clercius plays the forgotten WR spot. Then you have 4 Canadians in skilled positions which will let you play more Americans on the OL and protect our QB. Have Cobb, Corcoran and a Canadian OL to back up.
  17. Looks like Tui Eli was extended as per the CFL transactions page. I guess the Bombers media department has the day off today as they havent made the announcement yet.
  18. Osh hires the assistant coaches Logan showed nothing at returner last year. Don’t see a need to pay him at all. No real need for a backup American RB on the roster, better to find a DB or WR that can return if Vaval signs down south
  19. I have no idea what this means. Walters is just as likely to sign someone or let them walk? Every GM signs some guys and lets some walk. That’s how it works
  20. Not sure about Logan. His SMS was reported at $107K. Obviously if Vaval comes back then we're looking for a PR player as injury insurance and development on an ELC. Saving $26K on Logan not a big deal but we don't know if he's asking for more either. There will always be DB's, receivers looking to win a spot that includes depth as a returner. A few players coming off serious season ending injury: Streveler, Schoen, Case and Bonds to name a few. I'm not expecting any of them back but we'll see if that happens or not. A few players like Hallett and Gauthier might not be extended. Both still good on ST's but we added Ball and 3 LB's in the draft to take on those roles. Overall we added 3 LB's, 1 DB, 1 receiver and 1 OL from the 2025 draft. Some SMS savings potentially. 2026 draft will add some new players to the roster and room will need to be made. However younger and ELC options is an annual situation.
  21. Yep, the litmus test will be free agency. If he does well, I'll change my tune. Until then, nope. Bringing Thomas & Hogan back as coaches is a big red flag for me.
  22. plus brought in some good prospects for camp, and we’ve moved on from thomas. big win in my books so far.
  23. Walters has brought back two elite Canadian starters for the offense in Brady and Demski, two potential starting Canadians on D in Lawson and Kramdi and an all star HB in Nichols. So far, I think his off-season work should be applauded not **** on.
  24. Teams are using up what's left of the cap money from this season before January 1st. I'm hoping we still have some money left over for players we'd like back & not given to deadweight veterans who shouldn't be here. I'd like to see Sergio Castillo back for sure. But this is Kyle Walters our GM we're talking about. He's just as likely to sign him as to let him walk.
