kids are unbiased...and call it as it is lol The majority of the plays where the Elk's got big gains....sustained drives...Jake...and Korn were on field...either individually ...and together....just rehashing that makes me puke in my mouth...when not out there...we actually got pressure with even just the 3 man....and way more disruption with 4 and a blitzer...and it helps out our 2 ends as they have to pay attention to the middle...Lawson constantly breaks thru...gets pressure and hits on the QB....yet gets half the reps Thomas does...and the odd time Jake gets some push in pocket...cant finish play...or disengage to follow play Seeing how we really don't use Cooley enough to make him truly impactful (he's a back who needs to be getting rep after rep) we may as well dress Person to give the ends a rest and it will up their game...or Woods when he ready as we can still slide out one of him or Admas on the edge and give an end a breather....also Bailey for Weitz to give a true speed guy reps too and keep the OT's out of balance...He would offer just as much if not more than Weitz on teams I'd dump both of Thomas and Korn a few games...actually dress Schmuck as he gets in their and mucks it up and is a beast in the jumbo package and dress Cobb...would give us way more value and flexibilty than current roster... we got lotsa glue

I don't know if he can bust through this plateau he has reached as a coach, while still being here. I think we are going to be locked in to a lot of the same stuff, for a long time. I think when things come to an end here, how ever and when ever that happens, he could take the next step.

And for the 'stop with the Jake hate', it really is not Jake hate. At least for me. If he's the glue find different ways to apply it on this team. It's just frustrating and difficult to watch our nose tackle be push backed 1-2 yards and/or play bump belly with the OL on 90% of his reps. I know I know we're 3-0, we've made the GC 5 years in a row, MOS has turned our club around, we lead in attendance, we are the gold standard of this league, we have the best uni's around etc etc. But cut us some slack there is always room for improvement no matter who you are.

That was definitely a gripe i had. They took their sweet time when I thought reviews were supposed to be a quick yes it's obvious or no it's too close to tell so they're not spending hours trying to figure it out. Cfl reffing is just so bush league sometimes.

Someone on another site pointed out the rule says automatic reviews aren't supposed to take more than 60 seconds. That felt like about 10 times that but maybe because of a commercial break?

yeah I stand by my comment that Osh is a pansy at times with his challenge opportunities...goes home way too often at end of game with it still in his pocket For a guy when times were tougher around here and he was scuffling as a coach he sure showed a lot more balls and with trickery....extracting whatever he can out of obscure rules....challenge flags...going for it...got a couple Cup wins and now like a lot of his rostering and talent decisions....he's coasting and being all status quo...He used to have a big set of onions....seems like he a couple Glossett's tucked in his cargo shorts now yeah I gonna peruse once i get some work done...I'll need some entertainment

never know...but it was obvious Holm had nothing to do with it.....they overturned the Bonds one which was the right call BTW...but a way tougher call to over rule

Yeah I think we got away maybe with more tugs, but they got away with the most egregious plays. Guys like paddy and Stan know exactly what they can get away with. I’ve got no gripe going either way in the call on bonds pick. That was a tough play to call with all but one angle at super slow mo. My only issue is the quality of the challenge review, and the integrity of the process. I want that to be strong and consistent. I don’t agree, I think it’s clear he didn’t trip the wr. I also think it’s critical to throw those challenges if you think they won’t over turn it. Make it stand out and appeal it. Force the league to address it and change. Allowing them to brush it under the rug is being complicit. also, we had a time when those calls were super soft. But that was overhauled a couple years ago. It’s not that way any more. Incidental dpi is not that common and WRs don’t dive and draw calls easily.

OK, this is a true story. Was at the game with the family yesterday in the South endzone, including my older son (14). He does NOT watch football at all, but comes with us to a game or two a year. Before the game they are doing player introductions and the D runs out of the tunnel one by one. No word of a lie, they introduce Jake Thomas and he waddles out and my son audibly starts to giggle and he turns to look at me as if to say "is that guy on the team?". All I could do was shrug.

Watching Jake Thomas last night on television. He's even wore than I thought. Always get turned inside to the right or left or is stood straight up & pushed back. Even when he made some kind of penetration towards the qb he was late. He has no moves. Just a straight bull rush. WTF??? And he got the majority of reps last night. He was lost on an island in a 3 man front. The Edmonton backs just ran right by him. Its to the point that I no longer respect him anymore. What a sad sack excuse for a DT. Retire, already.

I don't think it would have been overturned. They call accidental PI on any DB that breathes on a receiver as they fall down. The receiver can trip the DB and then shove them down but the way they call it the DB can't do anything.

Yeah, you can see that slipping out and hitting the turf. It's better that they got it right, no one can say 'that's why they won'
