  1. Past hour
  2. Honestly Harris wasn’t good this week or last week. 1 TD and 5 FGs. Our O once Zach went down did nothing.
  3. Mitchell, Wheatfall, Neufeld, Kolankowski, Corcoran, Streveler, Wilson bring nothing to the O. Eli and Wallace aren't capable of playing every down. We basically don't have a single OL who is above average. Vaughters brings nothing, can't even hold his position so the RB has to run around him like a pylon...at least that would give the rest of the D a chance to flow to the ball. Jake Kelly and Vaval are total marks if they are on the field on D. Athletes who have no ******* clue what they are doing. That's not even getting to the injury list or talking about Bryant and Jefferson who are not even 1/10th of what they were. This is a bad team. The fixation on Jake Thomas as if replacing him makes some kind of difference in winning and losing is nuts.
  4. Watching bonfire here, Shnitzer claims Bombers D wasnt at fault. The stat lines would prove it. Harris ,statistically ,had his worst game of the year.
  5. We'll see if it is actually concussion. Though I suppose they'll never say for sure. He'll definitely be trying to play again this year. The fact that he ran off the field left me hopeful.
  6. Thomas is in the Top 10 worst. he shouldn't be here. He should retire or be cut. he did nothing today except bull rush all game, penterate maybe 3 yards before getting stood up & stopped. That's all he does. Thomas brings nothing to our D. He doesn't sound like he's laughing to me.
  7. Concussions are nothing you can train to overcome, and every concussion leaves the victim more vulnerable to the next one. Collaros must be pretty close to his limit if he is not there already. I recall Matt Dunnigan sayin in a n interview that he was still experiencing the effects long, long after.
  8. You’re laughing at me being concerned about his quality of life after taking another of many over his career hellish hits, a lot of them resulting in concussions that more than likely will not turn out well for him? Wow.
  9. I suggest it is hubris, plain and simple. Walters is to blame for letting things come to this, but O'shea's ego will not allow him to accept that his judgement has become and likely always was flawed. As we age, we become more and more set into a our core personalities. Stubbornness/determination is probably a valuable asset as a player but a liability as a coach. The Willy/Nichols incident when O'Shea was fairly new as the Bomber head coach was very telling.
  10. Hopefully he can return healthy... Family and health are always the most important things. We know he'll definitely try and come back stronger than ever.
  11. Every week same problems, recognition and change from coaches? TBD but probably not. We killed the league when our lines dominated, now we have a bloody useless defensive line and a bad offensive line. Lapo highlighted a couple plays early showing why kolankowski is a useless sack of ****. Seriously it's a huge issue when the pocket has no chance when all you have to do is put a guy on top of the centre. Do we try and do anything? Nah we good.
  12. Yesterday
  13. It's unfortunate... Especially in a GC hosting year. But I'm not interested in all the things that were supposedly done wrong... I'm more interested in how we fix it going forward. Time to get to work... The season isn't over.
  14. ZC is signed for 2026. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!@
  15. Jaylen Smith was great on special teams again. Brady, Demski, Pokey did their jobs and played well for the most part. Other than that, not much good to point out.
  16. Yeah this isn’t like a 2019 team that started out hot had some injuries then came together at the right time. It’s closer to the 2008 Bombers. Old, good enough to squeak in but absolutely not good enough to compete.
  17. There is absolutely no way ZC should play another down this year or possibly ever. He literally was knocked unconscious (at least that’s what it really looked like) and with his history of concussions I continue to fear for his quality of life after football. I love what he has done for this organization but enough is enough.
  18. Forgive me if this was mentioned..but when the riders were on the 1 yard line..how did they not know they were going to throw deep down the sideline?!? 1000% knew that was coming on the first play.
  19. I caught O'Shea's post-game interview. The interview was short, O'Shea was very curt in his replies and evasive. He said that both recent games were closely played and it all came down to the Riders making a "couple more plays" than the Bombers. And no, he didn't think losing Collaros changed the Bomber game plan. Sadly, he was probably right.
  20. An entire team and not a single game breaker. Just meh, blah, bland poop all over the roster. And coaches who seem to have no idea what is wrong, never mind how to fix it. Every problem we have complained about for three years, despite winning, has come to a head. Not a single one was addressed. Aging QB with diminishing skills. No real backup. Dumb roster decisions. No pass rush. No playmakers on D at all really. K-Olé-nkowsi at Center. Sucks man.
  21. I guess you didn’t read my point about him obviously not being the only problem.
  22. watching Bighill playing for Calgary wearing that weird helmet, he looks like Rick Moranis in Spaceballs lol
  23. The main point is that the team isn't good enough. Using Thomas as a focal point for that is nuts. Our OL is a mess, we have probably 2 CFL level receivers dressed, our backup QB's are borderline useless as passers and football players currently (Streveler obviously a weapon pre knee explosion), we have basically no difference makers on D aside from Nichols, Holm, Kramdi. Jones is an average MAC. Griffin is a piece, doesn't take the ball away. Nichols doesn't really either. But yeah, Jake Thomas and 50 of his best buds....horrible team.
  24. With Edmonton, BC, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa being the way they are. we are likely to make the playoffs and stall there.
  25. Nope not to me has nothing to do with him being white and with his body shape. Weird you say that. And yes he is definitely in the top ten worst player player category who starts on this team. Anywhoo Go Bombers. Sure Vaval got torched but where was the pressure on Harris or is this just on Vaval? I thought this was the ultimate team game?
  26. Thomas isn't in the top 10 worst players on this team regardless of nationality. He's just an easy target to make a point because he's an old, white Canadian guy with his gut hanging out. Vaval playing every down at corner as a total mark for opposing offense is a way bigger problem in terms of winning and losing. We get Sask on their own 1, two plays at Vaval and they're 85 yards down the field. I wish Jake Thomas was the worst player on this team because we'd be in contention then.
  27. uh oh. I’m getting into it with @JuranBoldenRules. I don’t think i’m frothing well maybe a bit but yes i’m isolating on one player. Yes obviously he is no where near the only problem. Yes our top guys need to perform better on both sides of the ball. Yes i knew you would through the gap sound argument at me. Yes this is a team game with so many moving parts so not missing the forest through the trees. But controlling for all this if you can say continuing to play Vaval at DB would be insane (isolating on one lower rated player) it’s fair to say continuing to play JT (low rated player) at NT is insane regardless of where you would rank them. We are hiding our worst player at starting NT and i feel that’s disrespectful to the position and how important it is and i’m not even necessarily interested in that position but do know how important it is.
