  1. Past hour
  2. I agree that things are going well so far in the internal offseason.... All the re-signings have been good players... all the releases have been the right players... when it come to the old guys debate - Neufeld, Big Stan, Willie, and Wilson - I think Wilson should be the only obvious cut... the other three still have a place at the right price... some quality up-and-comers on D like Smith, Shay, Woodbey, Allen and a quality DL addition in FA would be the one big thing I'm hoping for..... we need that force in the middle we've been missing since Stove...
  3. This or straight fire? I know what I'd chose. 🙂
  4. More hits for other teams (although these are only futures deals): All-CFL defensive lineman Jaylon Hutchings to sign NFL futures contract with Minnesota Vikings - 3DownNation Cincinnati Bengals sign Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Dohnte Meyers to NFL futures contract - 3DownNation
  5. It wasn't about Holm specifically but the combination of bigger paydays to Holm, Kramdi & Nichols.
  6. I don't necessarily disagree with the allocation of money argument, I just laughed that immediately after it's the re-signing post. Like the Bombers are just watching and going "**** this guy in particular "
  7. Imagine this crew as the CFL panel. You could rotate the two drunks every week to ensure you're getting fan representation from all CFL teams. The panel would be moderated by Bob Irving and Luke Wilson to help fuel the fireworks. TSN has no idea what it's doing.
  8. he has grown on me....but not as much as some of you...we could do better....but he would be an elite cover safety and prob lead league in picks...and you'de never hear me complain about it
  9. I remember when Holm was one of Booch’s original whipping boys.
  10. YEAH...Good timing....but dont like how much money we have tied up now in 3 db's....2 of the 3 would have been more palapable but what ev's...Hope it doesnt mean we scimp on the dline now I had heard they were taking and assumed he's be a more priority all thigs considered...and nobody piling on really...guy can play and hope he gets better...and learns how to tackle and be more physical I sure he got a bump...and if Kramdi got the bump he got at not being half the player...Holm +Nichols + Kramdi is gonna be way too much for a position group that should be your cheapest...and there should be no way Holm gets more than Nichols...and sure he got a bump....yikes Nichols plays the tougher spot....can be said actually SAM is the toughest and we have our worst guy cemented in there....Kramdi doesnt have elite closing speed...he is not fast by anymeans either...Holm does tho..Woodbey has explosive closing too...especially in tight spaces The putting of Kramdi at safety eliminates any chances of him being manned up one on one....cause he is brutal in any type of coverage...best suitrd coming downhill
  11. Actual photo of 17to85, Coorsman and I with another one of our buddies at Tav U.....
  12. Holm is outstanding... A worthy All Star recipient. Stoked to have him back.
  13. Today
  14. I'm with you on this from a fan perspective. I'm also not sure how I should feel on what Chevy said here: 'He noted the Jets have given up some draft picks in the past few years and are “paying a little bit of a price for that right now.”
  15. If they were going to fire Matty for imbibing they never would have hired him in the first place. Guy has liked his beers for many, many years.
  16. I like Kramdi at S because I think it plays to his one big strength, his closing speed. S is a role way more suited to his skill set and I think he could give QB fits if he can read the play well enough. His acceleration in a straight path is as good as it gets. Don't know if he can catch tho...lol. He is not bad allocation of cash. He is an all star DB. Someone else in the secondary might be bad allocation of cash but not Holm. He plays the toughest position in the secondary and is the best in the league at it.
  17. The part about it being a bad allocation of cash could still be correct. Need to see some details first though.
  18. Yea...sorry Booch going to pile on...that post didn't even get a chance to not age well.
  19. Sergio's photo reminds me of good ol Bernie Ruoff who would wear office guy glasses onfield with a single-bar helmet. A different time the 70s were... https://www.imagecommunications.ca/image?_bqG=6&_bqH=eJxtj09PwzAMxT_Nel6RClKlHNLY7SzWBPKnWk_RxNgYEppYxoFvT1xNUAE.OL_3nJfIbX98S7umfT1cHqmE1WdIB7d733Spr8vbulrW5TJXTRGcEueP035fUHQgPS6qpu8XFYiZAcAGwMwac7HJZ7bxdxT_RvH_qCI_Tp_5PGZQJmhvx0jOsDSWUOcZGc2SXLS4RukQrvJhrp2xXlip74tptyg1iEvm4NBGAhF477vNjR2a0.qYKI8Gsj7IdZQdajXypSKqJlJ.OEevGL7Rtj_YM0rlRXrenp9eimFKd1NX3L8ANENxIQ--
  20. I love the timing of this post after booch questions if we're moving on from him.
  21. Great move! We’ve brought back all the right guys this off season.
  22. Thats a huge loss for the CFL, but pretty good for the Bombers lol
  23. https://www.bluebombers.com/2026/01/06/blue-bombers-sign-all-cfl-halfback-evan-holm-to-two-year-contract-extension
  24. I'd watch a show with Matty , Walby, and 2 other drunks gabbing about the CFL. Sign me up!!!
