I’ve said it for awhile. If Davis Alexander is healthy, Montreal is the best team in the league. We would have had a chance against Hamilton today if we found a way to pull that one out.

Yeah, my gut feel was also that Als would move it into FG range, and use up the clock But the Cats LB had a chance to make a stop, on second down around midfield. MBT with a good game plan and a defense that gave up only 13 points today...you could do a heck of a lot worse...

Back-up QB's have faired well the last few years so hopefully that continues if that scenario plays out.

idk man, He can get a premier qb coach job or mid level oc job in d1 ball on a whim. I also don’t know if austin would want to come up for the pennie’s and be under pinballs thumb, in front of 8 fans, hemorrhaging talent each fa, not even having a home field for a year etc. That’s the least desirable situation in the cfl. Mos would want to go possibly because of his past there. But if not him, I think toronto will ave to scrape the barrel. I don’t think they can really offer much, it’ll all be nostalgia n junk for mos. But I could see them going with a skeleton crew and to give him as much cash as they can.
