The whole Luke Wilson complaining about the rules thing has been so weird because of how great most of the (non Bombers) games have been this season.

The thing that 17to85 brought up is, with rules changes... Don't they have a rules committee that has to approve any changes? It all feels so random and out of nowhere...

I love Dru and would still take him back as soon as Zach is done. Both guys, with the right team around them (OL, Weapons, Play calls) can be surgeons out there.

and after watching that game I have to say my sadness at losing Dru Brown to Ottawa was mostly overcome too, he was hot garbage yesterday.

I can't imagine it being anything outside of maybe some kind of streaming deal , gambling deal, NFL deal where the ratio changes, something of interest but nothing that would completely overshadow the Grey Cup.

I'm guessing the reason they are doing better is because of stability in the coaching and the ability to bring in guys who can play or make the changes they need. I may be wrong but isn't Tre Ford healthy and able to play? The coaches gave him a shot and then transitioned to Fajardo when it wasn't working out.

Why we didn't put in Wilson when Streve was struggling (to say the least) is a bloody mystery...I wonder what the other guys on the club are thinking when they're witnessing the same things we are, and yet the coach 'wants to die on the field with his boots on' and looks ambivalent, confused in which direction to proceed....It was obvious Streve was struggling, to very fan of this team, except the coach....That doesn't bode well for the future

Edmonton's played well enough to win for 58 minutes of the last two games. Add the last two and they're winners.

Dolegala and Patterson right now are an improvement over a guy who could only complete 3 passes in 4 quarters. No questions about it. Those 2 guys also have had more success in the CFL (see my post about throwing for more then 250 yards). Look I was among the top Streveler fans, I used him as my avatar and pumped his tires and proclaimed that how could a guy stick in the NFL for a few years if he was a bum. I was more then willing to hand the guys the keys and let him take over. He's had his chances this season and is trending downwards and simply hasn't shown anything at all. This reminds me of me crapping on Nichols a few years back when a couple of people on these boards INSISTED that the guy wasn't shot and that we are to blame the coaches and everyone else. It's time to move on and try someone else it's not working at all. It's the CFL you CAN bring a QB in and have them at least give you a shot at winning (see Dolegala/Patterson putting up 250 yards on a terrible Saskatchewan team). Wilson may also be a "jobber", but he hasn't been given a chance AT all. Why in the hell would the coaches not give the 3rd quarter to Wilson to see if maybe he can spark the O? At this point we've had numerous games where he should of been put into the game to at least give a change of pace or a different look to see if it would do anything at all. All of our faults this season has been a clear definition of insanity and it's frustrating as a fan that they havn't even tried to make a change for the better. It's like they are looking at 2019 and trying to milk the ever lasting last bit of juice from it. It's bizarre.

Absolutely, but winning teams get those close ones. It means nothing in the standings if you keep losing those type of games. With the typical CFL off season roster turnover, it might not matter if they're good in the last couple of games of the year.

Ya if this partnership with the Bills all of a sudden turns into "we're going to full NFL rules and going to be an NFL feeder league"... Out of nowhere 3/4 of the way through a season... It would be the most insane thing ever. That's the kind of **** you figure out in the offseason.

Says in the release that fans can follow along on CFL+ apparently... What a weird thing to do... Drop an announcement seemingly this big on a Sunday afternoon, 3/4 of the way through the season. Guess we'll see tomorrow morning...

Honestly Booch, I think you are full of **** on this whole insider thing you are peddling here. So call me down if you wish but at least I don't pretend to have a network of insiders. Every prediction you've made around here based on "insider talk" has turned out to be completely false narrative. A couple years ago you told us that Willie J was unhappy and was leaving the Bombers because of Osh. He signed with us two days later. So cram it. I'm not buying what you are selling. I never once stated that the GM makes the game day roster, but he signs the players. THAT IS HIS JOB not O'Sheas and you saying otherwise just proves my theory that you are full of ****. You might be able to pull the wool over some guys around here but I've seen a thousand of you "insider" guys come and go from a thousand different forums.
