  2. I still watch the Bombers (I even bought the Chicken fingers they've been promoting). Plus CJNU is my default radio station so I'll hear the Goldeyes in season (doesn't look like they'll make post season this year despite the turnout this month). Hell I really look forward to the Olympics when it goes on because Canada is awesome....funny how we aren't really getting any promotions for Milan 2026 when they are about 6 months away does CBC have the Olympic rings in their watermark yet? but what does that have to do with my comment about the eats at the forks? I made the Neon Cone comment because I usually go to the Forks three times a year (I might go a fourth time for Christmas shopping because they opened a really cool spinoff of the Forks trading company where they promote locally made stuff) and two of the times I went the soft serve machine was broken. If I wasn't a sports fan would I be making monthly trips to SaveOnFoods just so I can get my name into Touchdown/Score and Win?
  3. Funny how football fans in this country don't feel pride in the CFL. It actually saddens me. I actually thought it might positively affect attendance. Fans that don't watch the CFL are still breathlessly waiting for the NFL to start. But hey, don't holiday in the US unless it's Dougie Ford's Ontarians all heading to Buffalo for the team's next home game. Just curious, other than the Jets do you like sports?
  4. He'll never gt the chance to play Center with Osh here.

  6. This comment reminded me of a former Blue Bomber Head Coach named Joe Zaleski whose favourire expression was, "We're optimistic" every time he was asked if he thought the Bombers were good enough to win their next game. Or, if his next starting qb was good enough to play. He was Head Coach for the Bombers from 1967 thru 69. He must have repeated that phrase a dozen times over, if not more during his time here. Maybe Joe felt the more he said it out loud for all to hear that he'd even start to believe it. He finished last in the Western Conference every season & had an overall record of 10-37-1. The result of Zaleski's optimism? He was fired. Optimism didn't cut it. The lack of results did. You're optimistic & God bless you for that. My point is, that I don't believe this our receiving corps as a group ist good enough to carry us long term. Yeah, it was nice to see Keric Wheatfall make an appearance with some catches. I just don't think who we have currently are good enough. Walters made sure of that this past off season. The key to everything is to get Brady going running he ball. Until Hogan takes his head out of his ass & realizes that, our passing game without Oliveira chewing up enough big plays on the ground & our receiving corps without enough real playmakers is going to suffer. Hogan refuses to commit to the run game & it's hurting everything.
  7. Deleted: Doubled up on the Schoen pic.
  8. In this week’s WST Bombers Report, Connor and I debate play calling, whether Hogan redeemed himself and what this win meant for the Blue & Gold going forward. Also available on all your podcast apps.
  9. rollin with Rankin
  10. Reporters have their stories written before they even ask. They want quotes, not information.
  11. Hey, I got an "eye roll" from Noeller! Does that mean I've been initiated?
  12. i love seeing a guys hustle and motor pay off. especially a canadian linemen.
  13. why does it feel like some of these reporters are simply asking questions to confirm their own opinions? I get the need to ask them but its annoying how they try to put words in the coaches mouth rather than just letting him explain
  14. As opposed to his play calling? Just kidding 😁
  15. i’d say he was average for the cfl as a lt. which considering he is a G andy as been a project at T for the nfl and us is not a bad sign. he was really good at G this year. he’s worth developing at T and is definitely the future right now. in a perfect world i’d have rando at lt as he’s much better in pass pro and vanterpool at rt. but they didn’t do as well last year when pushed into battle at those sides. but it was a bad situation and early for both. either that, or wallace maybe kicks out to rt, or manu comes up. wallace also moves well and has seen snaps at C here and could play that despite his size. We need to keep looking for imp ol especially tackles, and canadians as always. but we have good options and modularity. i think we can see a fast turn around on the ol when kola/bryant/neuf pack it in. adams has been good, but his snaps have dipped hard. the 3 end front, and all the two canadian dls have ravaged his snaps.

  17. One can hope…. Those glasses made him look like a moron.
  18. Ah, so that's what Hogan looks like. I couldn't tell from the earlier photos wth the cap on backwards and the sunglasses. Perhaps, his play calling will mature along with his attire?
  19. I appreciated Younger's answer when he was asked why they let both Bighill and Alexander go at the same time, given how important leadership and communication are. "The other side of that is the physical toll that the game takes. Either way, you have a challenge. Whether the challenge is communication or physical limitations - you choose your challenge."
  20. Even adding woods as a extra dlineman would be beneficial, most teams run with 8 dlinemen, last game both our dline and oline looked gassed Also Adams hasn't been as effective recently, Younger has been utilizing both Smeckle and Thomas instead for run stopping
  21. He may have been rusty or out of position, but I didn't see Vanterpool as exceptionally good at LT, and with an aging Big Stan, plus an increasingly brittle Collaros, that has to be a concern.
  22. Man, I would love to see all of that…. And it’s so frustrating to know that likely none of it will happen.
