  1. Past hour
  2. Totally. Why are people acting like Collaros would've magically won the game if his hand wasn't injured. The game was toast. Offense was completely unprepared. Collaros had thrown for what, 3 first downs all game until that point in the 4th? He was absolute dogshit in the Grey Cup with a healthy hand
  3. "Near zero" is still better than "zero".
  4. I suggest that O'Shea is promoting a "tweak" because if he conceded that a major rebuild is needed, that would reflect on his management of the team.
  5. Great that you have a crystal ball on that. Cool.
  6. Why the hell are we arguing about the 2024 cup right now. Toronto's D came in hot and would have diced up whoever played at QB. It doesn't matter.
  7. Today
  8. And as I just told someone, he shows up in the playoffs!
  9. Yup thats a fact completely agree but we were put in that position and sticking with ZC was a mistake based on what happened and that’s a fact no matter how one spins it.
  10. Regardless of who the backup was they were a better option than a qb who can't use his hand.
  11. We should've never been in that position where its dole or wilson in a grey cup lol.
  12. I'm pretty sure we did. Idk if we used the most Canadians, but we had several games of 9 starters. Yep. Should be in a good position to get the extra pick atleast.
  13. They regularly started more Canadians then they needed to. If they aren't in the running I'd be shocked. I suppose that depends on your definition of "tweaking".
  14. If you could land Philpot, a trio of Philpot, Demski and Clercius starting, 2 on the OL and 2 on D would likely make us better.
  15. If we keep the overpay contracts like Collaros, how can we afford to upgrade the team around them?
  16. Yep, Wilson, going into GC threw a grand total of 1 pass in his 18 games in the 2024 regular season. He had next to zero experience doing anything but handing the ball off or running a QB sneak. That's the MOS way though, with rookies.
  17. Am i safe to assume that we didn't qualify this season for one of the bonus draft picks for being amount the top 2 teams in overall Canadian snaps?
  18. only way to find out tho...is give them a chance for a game or 2...lord knows we give craptacular guys seasons worth of chances Shay was regarded as the most pro ready LB in the draft...Smith not far behind.... Yet Ham found success with raw rookie....BC as well withbtheir guys the last few yrs got a lot of play time...and Nat...Import....doesnt matter.....Shay is a national by the wide range in the determination...he's as American as American as can be.. I can see the argument with Canadians coming in from the CIS....Not Canadians who played NCAA and or Prep school before that...they are light yrs ahead of the curve as the CIS guys Regardless...Osh wont or rarely gives Imports reps as the back-up ....and thats a big reason why we roster and play walking wounded as the actual backups get zero play time...so he has no clue what they can do, let alone if they have the mental part down.... true true....that being said...we need to dump some baggage...and be open to our ratio and deviate from how its been for basically...10 yrs now And Osh cant have a hissy fit of Walters says Thomas..Kramdi..Kolo...Wilson...and others aren't being sked back...and guys like T.Jones are not the default starter
  19. If we go shopping in FA, and draft well, we can be right back in the mix next year.
  20. From what I remember from the post earlier, all 3 are pending FAs. Nichols is certainly the one I want to keep the most, but I also think he is the one who will want to win the most and be valued the most around the league. Yeah, it'd be a great luxury to get him here. I actually think as a WR the value on his deal could be pretty good.
  21. I think he on record saying he allots so much for each position group...so fairly rigid...and maybe time to deviate...same with ratio
  22. Or Shay/Smith would have been exposed and we do worse. Hard to say. Lot of it predicates on the belief that 2 rookie NAT LBers were ready to start. This is completely unknown at this time and therefore not a statement of fact but of opinion. Yep,,,I agree. Most here will say Elgersma the rookie, if he signs, and champion him to start all season despite rookie QBs rarely having success. We will ruin Elgersma if we rush him.
  23. How did it work out with keeping a crippled ZC in? But hey keep with the no other option wave of hand argument. Outstanding.
  24. yup...the DB price has to be pared down and is a bloated amount thats not necessary.....2 of those salaries need togo..Hopefully its Kramdi and Holm...at they all free agents? Nichols is the one tokeep as he is a leader...can play anywhere and isnt in decline....Kramdi and Holm...easily replaced at half the cost Philpot would look good here...take some load off of Demski too and likely keep him healthy and producing at a high level...Land a legit #1 WR threat....Roll with that guy..Pokey..Demski...Philpot...Clercius possesion gritty guy....free up a import spot elsewhere exactly...plus with Bailey being added to mix and allowing another import on the field...be back to2019 2021 dline terror....Bailey needs to play and develop...has all the tools...yeah people see him as a Global...but really he isnt a true Global...He was sought after as an American until it was relozed he can qualify as a Global
  25. Holy **** is there some bad crack going around town? I'm still disappointed we gave up so quick on Max Hall.
  26. I don't believe it's that rigid. Just that he knows if he spends $300,000 on a Z receiver that means one of the slot receivers has to be a rookie kind of thing. Pretty standard budgeting.
