I know it's become popular, given the hype, to pick nits with his performance in college, but the talent is undeniable and might make some GM look foolish if they chose to be the "smartest guy in the room." If he's there, take him.

    Got to kill this two man advantage. Realistically, I don't know if these Jets have the horses to make a deep run. I personally think they should just throw in the towel right now and get the high draft pick and retool for next year.

    Yeah which I don't think we have in house. Unless you think Wheatfall has any more to give. Who do you like from the league free agent list? All 3 are a meh. Willie in a rotational role but I don't think he'd play for that kind of money.

    It's Beanie the GM unable to draft & manage the roster. Who is Allen supposed to throw to when he has the worst unit of receivers in the NFL?? Just like Zach here with the Rogues Gallery we had last season. Streveler at wideout? Schoen playing with a torn ACL. Corcoran???Mitchell??? Collaros still threw for over 3000 yards with a piece of **** for OC & missing 3 or 4 games with a suspension & injuries. Fans don't ask for much....

    I’m ok moving on from all 3 Amazing news about Vaval. I thought he was going to be one and done and get some NFL looks due to his age, but this is great news. He has a chance to become one of the all time great returners.

    agreed... I still think Willie and Big Stan will be back... please give me one big addition to the OL and DL in FA... but otherwise we've signed the guys that needed to be signed and released the guys that need to be released... so far, so good.

    Stan at the right price, I'd take... That's about it. Right now I'm wanting a good C, some IMP DL and REC... If we can grab some quality pieces there I think we're in decent shape.

    Looking at the BB free agent list...I'm not sure there's anyone left we really NEED to sign. Is there anyone who you think we should sign? Successful offseason thus far. Time to start looking at other teams' free agents IMO. I'm still thinking Brissett from Toronto would be a great add.

    Okay we have 35 games to go. We are 7-10 points away to a playoff spot. How many more losses before we should realistically throw in the towel? Or thinking more positively, how many more W's do we need out of the 35 games left to realistically make the playoffs. 27/28? 23/24 with some OTL's mixed in? Or should I put all my energies right now in hoping we increase our odds in getting a very high high draft pick? Or just spend all my time on the football side of things and ignore hockey all together?

    To be real greedy, is there potential for him to be a receiver as well? Edit, oh yea they had him playing db, but how about as a receiver?

    similar vein but less restrictive. The CFL as a whole could benefit from trying to develop QBs. Next time the cap is going up, the league should look at adding an extra roster spot for a developmental QB that is on the roster but is a gameday scratch. Can be American or Canadian. Then teams designate 1 player as their developmental QB. Ideally it's the same player all season, but if you set the salary to say 200k and then just divide it up by the season duration, you'll maybe entice some decent QB prospects who want to continue their career and not make CFL practice squad money.
