  1. Past hour
  2. A couple of different options that I can add to Noeller's list are : Park Cafe at Assiniboine Park - It's affordable and if you get a window seat it's a real nice view. Prairie Edge at Kildonan Park - Sometimes hit and miss, but when it's on it's really good. Feast Cafe Bistro - Indigenous restaurant , I've been several times for breakfast and lunch and it's always top notch. Roasted Nomad on Marion - I have not been but my wife went with friends and they said it was amazing.
  3. I'll go Lawler.
  4. Today
  5. I'm a bit of a breakfast aficionado... Stella's... Cafe Breakfast with the Wildberry jam on multi grain toast... Spectacular way to start a game day. Chicken Chef is wildly underrated. Wife and I love hitting the one in Dugald just east of the city. Pancake House on McGillvary isn't bad. There's a shop in The Forks Market (I'm blanking on the name) that specializes in breakfast and I really enjoyed it last time I was home. And yes, Clementine... Nationally famous small shop.
  6. I was wondering what breakfast places to go to in the city are? I heard clementine is good and the pancake house. Any that you suggest that are local.
  7. Pavia's NIL deal is estimated at $1.6 million this year. He likely isn't in a rush to come North.
  8. I reported nothing! Someone else posted something that looked like a waiver wire transaction and talked about bringing Woogie home.... And all ensuing posts seemed to believe the same as I did.
  9. i mean top tier arm talent, and some really impressive intangibles. he also has played the canadian game and needs to adjust to pro speed not nearly so much to cfl O/D. one year on a pr in the nfl is ideal for his development imo. after that you gotta really get into action to improve. The flashes he showed in pre season are really encouraging. lots of guys with arm talent, but for a guy to make the biggest step up in competition and immediately be competitive and comfortable is huge.
  10. If you’re looking. In the same section as our bus tour. 3 tickets section 636 row 22, $70 each.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Superb. Forthew. Win the internet. et. al.
  13. I for one blame Noeller. We never learn do we? Don't trust what that guy reports.
  14. Beat we can do is kramdi plays in a wheelchair
  15. well, best wishes for a smooth birth and a healthy baby and mom who can be a consolation to Lauther when he shits the bed in the LDC.
  16. as a full participant in the ensuing comment frenzy ... that was not our finest hour.
  17. Saskatchewan's team doctor say Trevor Harris is fine.
  18. Personal reasons = removing a truckload of manure from his driveway.
  19. And that means absolutely nothing. They decided to move on from Jake Thomas in 2018 and the ******* guy is still here so they definitely aren't opposed to bringing players back. That said - this is a nothing burger debate since there have been no rumours or intel suggesting this is even a possibility. A poster with zero credibility posted a link to his Ticats profile and people went a bit nuts over it.
  20. I think someone on Riderfans mentioned that Lauthers wife is imminently expecting. Maybe something to do with that
  21. Polk back at WR for the Argos.
  22. Lauther out for personal reasons ... while there's another kicker in camp looking to take his job. Hmm. No mention of Harris there either.
  23. Youth Football. I'd bet the Bombers are close to if not the team with the largest investment into youth football in their province. New equipment/jerseys/coaching/funding for flag/camps etc etc. Hell they just bought the entire league T-shirts that are branded heavily with Bomber colours and logos. Along with the team the kid plays for. Every kid on my team knows at least a couple Bombers. A good chunk based their jersey selection off Bomber player numbers. Even when asked if 88 is for CeeDee Lamb...the kid said no...Wheatfall. Not to mention the recruitment from up north and flying people in to watch games. I don't know what MLSE does to help out amateur football in ON. But I'd say it's likely not enough.
  24. agree with Booch -- I think Wilson's play breakdown is pretty good, especially for a sideline reporter. He zeroes in on the key elements of the play and points out the error or the achievement. No sugarcoating. I remember a game this year where Edmonton's OL was getting absolutely perforated ... Wilson broke down the breakdowns crisply and did not hesitate to call out the guy making the mistake -- one of them was an OL caught flatfooted by a stunt / blitz who gave up a lane right into Fajardo's lap. As an on-camera personality I think Wilson improves the broadcast. As a twitter personality, whatever.
  25. Diego Pavia is on our neg list. Don't think he gets a shot a real chance shot at the NFL.
