  6. Sounds like he was never weaned.
  7. Professional teams like to sign players who have family members running their mouths on SM right? This likely wont hurt TWs chances on landing on another team....
  8. The rest usually means game 1 loss but not both at home normally.
  9. Henson would be alive today. Died of common illness.
  10. lol so Terry quit when he saw the depth chart? Good riddance then. Terry couldn’t hit a 15 yard pass. TE was hitting dudes 30 yards away. Now TE might struggle early but I have no doubt after watching him something is there and he’s a better QB than Wilson. Strongest arm in camp by far. Effortless. Speed flex made me dislike TE a bit but when you see the guy in person you go, yeah he’s got something there. 6 foot 5 and an arm and a half, I could see why he waited a bit to come up. Great interviews also.
  11. Today
  12. Honestly have never seen Wilson enter a game (regular or pre-season) and look like anything but a raw rookie. He did well on short yardage, couple big runs. His preseason games have all been a series of being indecisive in the pocket, check downs and sacks. Low floor with not much ceiling. Was pretty surprised he was brought back for a third camp but still on rookie deal.
  13. Finally, we have the first pre-season game! LFG Both games are on CFL+, no regular TSN this year. Position battles to watch; DB, (22)Burrell, and (37)Texada lead this race through camp so far. (41) Williams isn't far behind. It will also be a big pre-season for (26)Woodbey and (0) Allen, who showed strong flashes last year but are fighting an uphill battle for AR spots. Bonus, the Canadians are having a tough battle as well (7)Stuart, (29)Ball, (16)Kelly are all fighting for a chance to play. Kelly needs to sustain some high-level play, as Ball has been a strong overachiever, and Stuart has tremendous attributes. (36)Javier is a sleeper pick as well. He spent time on the Riders' PR, played pre-season in the NFL, and had a knack for big plays in college to go with great size. (13)Addison, a former WR convert who immediately produced at DB, has incredible size and is another big-play college guy to watch. DL, (90)Dixon, and (54)Jenkins are front-runners at DE, (35)Bailey, and (43)Gatkuoth have high hopes to provide us meaningful reps from the depth chart. 95(Hooper) is a depth-sleeper as well. While (91)Pace is the new DT to watch. Of course, the OL will be a great watch, with mostly names we are all familiar with. Wallace's step forward in camp has been huge; this could be his coming-out party. And Eli now gets the chance to be C 1, while everyone gets the chance to finally be free of Kola. (62)Viebert, and(64)Ellsbury are lesser known guys to watch. I like a lot of what Viebert brings, and with a step forward this year could make a tough decision. Ellsbury is our no. 1 option at C if Eli doesn't work out. Lber, we see a ton of returning guys and more CFL bodies than we could possibly carry. (39)Smith and (34)Shay are the ones we all hope have a big game and manage to move up the depth chart. Rb/TE will be interesting to watch. (73) Daniels could be put in for blocking immediately, which could come at the expense of the 3rd rb. (25)MCI has flashed a significant step forward as a ball carrier in camp, on top of that huge play late last year. While (22)Peterson showed us a whole lot in relief of Brady last year. (35)Rocker, the token import RB of the year and winner of best name in TC, would only be fitting if he became the TC MVP. WR, it's an ugly group today. No reason to mince words. (86) Clericius moving to the slot should be a good watch. They seem high on (82)Cobb this year in camp, after stapling his butt to the bench most of last year. (83)Nield will need to translate what he flashed last year in a big way for us. (17) Singer has had some plays in camp. Corcoran, Desrosiers, Hurford, Jack, and (89)feel good story Tachinski are all going to play significant reps. Hopefully its not like a rerun of Baywatch when they are out on routes. (44)Keegan, the punter's rival this year, has been quiet after coming to camp late. (36)Lidster, Sergios intern has as well. (79)Harrison is a former JET KR of the year winner and will see some KR work. (87)Davis, a very tall, slim-built converted QB from the arena leagues, will likely see some KR work today. (17)Singer, a WR to watch, has also gotten reps on teams this camp, though he doesn't have as much experience doing it as the rest. (35)Rocker may possibly do it this pre-season as well, as he was kind of a do-it-all back in college.
  14. She called Paul Friesen "vile and souless" lol. He is...........
  15. Lots of references by her to how Taylor "looks the part", which....I think I know where that is going. Nowhere good, anyways. Honestly, given how this team has a history of being bafflingly loyal to players that were already here, I take this as a good sign that we may actually have something in Elgersma.
  16. Well a broke clock is right twice a day LOL Every couple of years we gotta have one of these family members. But atleast 3/4 of the time over the past 20 years its been Lapos... Wilson missed the biggest part of TC, the games. He took away his chance. We've seen guys be just about written off then have a great PS and change their fortunes. TE did it with the packers, and Browns big steps forward came in game as much as any thing.
  17. Guy can barely hit 50 per cent of his passes and produces more turnovers than a bakery. I'm sure the eight other CFL clubs will love the leadership skills he so clearly has....
  18. omg, I had just read her reply to one of my comments, but she is going ham on everyone. Fans, media, the organization. She called Paul Friesen "vile and souless" lol.
  19. That's the thing, after this long Wilson has had some opportunity and he's never seized it. Got no-one to blame but himself. Bailing without even giving it a go in preseason is just 10 ply soft.
  20. I was in favor of dumping Wilson early in the offseason. I don't think he showed a shred of progress at any point in time. From what I saw, Elgersma was head and shoulders better, and Wilson doesn't do anything better than Elgersma. I kind of expected Bryce and TE to pass Wilson. I also didn't think Wilson would want to sit on the PR. Its really hard to take a downgrade at his career point. That said, a downgrade is better then an end point.
  21. Because Elgersma is miles better than Wilson. Facts. What's the Twitter handle? Asking for a friend....
  22. Kyle Busch's cause of death revealed: Busch passed away "after severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications." Why do I keep thinking what happened was similar to what happened to Jim Henson except *one google later* well that killed part of my theory
  23. "It ain't show friends. It's show business."
  24. She gave it to me pretty good. Calling the organization disrespectful and that there was no competition and it’s all BS. He can’t. He’s our property
  25. Now that Rourke’s broken the glass veiling, we’ve seen Ford and Ermergerdsma. Things are moving.
  26. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes....The proper thing for Wilson to do right now is quit the whining and approach the Als ...they might be able to use him...The CFL is a business and sometimes tough business decisions hurt ...
  27. That's a pretty spare list of good quarterbacks, and finding a backup who has the potential to grow into a starter is equally difficult. The mortality rate among QBs who come to the CFL and do not stick has to be upwards of 90%. Always has been and likely always will be. Maybe the answer is for the CFL to work with universities to help groom Canadian quarterbacks who have potential rather than ignore them or bury them on the PR until they age out.
  28. Alexander appears to be an injury waiting to happen....The guy obviously has a big problem and IF Montreal had any sense they'd be shoring up their qb. stable ...It's too bad they hadn't addressed this sooner, as there seems to be a lot of disgruntled fans in Mont., who are seriously questioning some of the teams moves...
  29. To talk away the day before a game because you didn't like the depth chart is just all kinds of weak sauce .
  30. Rourke is the best QB and it's not close... But if you watched the CFL at all last year, you know that Alexander is right behind him. All he does is win... (And get hurt, unfortunately...) VAJ is summertime only BLM is a rollercoaster Harris is dink n dunk and has had one healthy season Collaros TBD Dru keeps getting hurt but CAN be lethal... Kelly can get ******... Faj is Faj... Weak armed and relies on Jesus sprinkles.
