The first game with Strev starting, they were solid.

Wasn't much better. Very few running lanes for Brady and still gave up way too much pressure.

I agree with you in theory, I just think we are SO far away right now. I suppose if Elgersma comes in and turns out to be Joe Montana … Wilson, Demski and Brady is a nice three headed monster on O but everyone else is just so god damn useless. Our D is sturdy but has what seems like absolutely no playmakers. I guess you could call Houston a potential playmaker depending on what he’s got left but one isn’t going to be enough. I just don’t know what change you can make that is going to make us even somewhat impressive at the line of scrimmage.

I disagree with that. You can make changes and while it might not be significant, it will have a cumulative effect that just might make the sum of the parts greater. There's a **** load of complacency going on right now, changes end that PDQ

That is a daming statement about our current QB situation if there ever was...

and he had a few attempts that were intercepted. The point here is that, as has been said from the get go.... THE PROBLEMS ON OFFENSE ARE MUCH BIGGER THAN THE QB.

I genuinely don’t think any changes we can make between now and the rest of the year can make any difference whatsoever. It’s too far gone. Start planning and introducing for next year.

Going with a 4 American isn't always going work. Look at BC, 4 Yanks and they still get beat by Canadian players.

Good or bad Zach always gives us the best chance to win, especially if the game is close. As soon as he went out the riders stacked the line and strev is not good enough to hit the deep ball.

I mean if Collaros is down I'd be surprised if they win more than 1 more game. We don't get to play BC or Toronto again. Just Ottawa once. Montreal at home when we might already be out of it.

Collaros wasnt playing great but at least he was able to run some plays inside the SSK 45 yard line. Looking at the play by play in the second half the offense had a 0 yard run by Brady at the 40 and Streveler threw a pick scrimmaging from the 43.

One bad week away from being tied for last in the West.

If I'm Collaros I would seriously ponder retirement, sure he can still play but at what cost for the future.

They were running right at Woodbey and Vaughters today. Not even sure either made a tackle. That's all LB's are out there to do vs the run. Flow to the ball, make a play.

I see no reason not to work our high draft picks in considering some of the useless NIs that get dressed. So you lose guys like Wilson or Jones at LB, boo hoo.

We should have kep the ball on the ground. Just feed Brady. If we don't get a first down we punt it away so the Riders have a long field to work with. That was a Hogan call. It was dumb. Hogan had already gave up on the running game.

Ok now analyze the other 20 spots on the field where we lose every week. Well you don't build a roster from scratch every year. But they should turn the WIL spot into a Canadian one because it's not like the Americans they are using there are making any plays.
