  1. Past hour
  2. It would be a huge risk signing one or both with the multiple knee injuries they have suffered in a salary cap world. Losing them again would have serious negative implications that it really isn't worth it anymore. It's to the point that it's not a matter of if but when they reinjure themselves again. And I feel I can speak of this based on the knee injuries I suffered when I was younger & the 2 knee replacements as well.
  3. Hodges was added to the neg list yesterday and signed today. I'm sure someone can come up with a good 3DownNation joke.
  4. I might give Dalton a shot but only after making as sure as I can be that he’s not gonna get hurt again and he’s willing to maybe PR at first. Cuz if he’s healthy, who knows if he ever will be right but if he’s healthy and that takes 9 10 11 months to do so? And then he’s good to go. I’d give him a shot man. Streveler? Yeah he’s done but he’d prob make a good coach of some kind.
  5. Streveler & Schoen can play elsewhere. If we bring them back we're in big, big trouble.
  6. Yesterday
  7. Call me cynical but this is done on purpose & is deliberate. Not for repairs but the timing.
  8. Pathetic, just pathetic.
  9. Dunno if I'd ever count Strev out ,anywhere. But I fear the worst with both dudes. Sad.
  10. Kramdi 151,000+Nichols-142,000= That"s 293, 000. I'll say Jake makes over 107,000 so 400,00-425,000 ish.
  11. So, along with your qb & five offensive linemen, the Double Wing has two running backs, wingback, tight end & two receivers. Yeah, that was a progressive offense. I'm sure Frankie Filchock & the rest of his 1949 Grey Cup champ Alouettes were all in on that.
  12. WR,TE,LT,LG,C,RG,RT,TE,WR Q SB RB
  13. dequoy is 5-10k more and waaay better. Even pickett is comparable to dequoy. When you look at the dbs making 140-160k, you expect premier players at that position. Not a guy like kramdi. His over pay isn’t any where near as bad as wj, or ford or a bunch of guys around the league. The problem is really we got 3 dbs making that kind of money and 1 guy who is at that level.
  14. Yeah I will be blown away if I ever see Schoen and or Streveler playing in the CFL again. Which is a true shame.
  15. GIVE ME T-WING AND OR DOUBLE WING OFFENCE!! True Bully ball. AND we don't need over spend on WRs (Well we still could, but would only need like 5 on the roster lol)....can over pay to get big time Defensive players in here! I'd bring Lawson back, he was just starting to find his game near the end of the year. I wouldn't necessarily want him starting, maybe at field side. But his play improved as the year went on.

  17. Is that a shot at tui downfield eli???! lol I fully believe that a team that invested in talented big athletic Te(s) and 11/12/22 formation would be at a massive advantage. Especially with a fast qb who can run.
  18. thankyou but I saw enough of Bridges, Bonds and even Lawson jt last year to not want to lose any of Allen, Nichols, and Holm. I'd also keep Houston.
  19. Speaking of extra blockers, there’s a decent TE (Rohan Jones) in this draft who might be worth looking at. I’d rather use a guy who can potentially make a play than adding additional olineman.
  20. close to , a shade under..I was thinking Nichols salary...over 300k and for Holm and Kramdi.....prob a good 130k at minimum for Jake....still....thats 450k better used elsewhere Schoen wont even be physically ready to start any real kind of practicing until late season...he shouldnt even be considered for 2026...of ever and let them jump at him
  21. need to have back guys as DB/cover LB guys....Nichols..Allen...Griffin...Woodbey......If cash allows....Holm......the rst of the crew....see ya later and thanks for the memories He grew on me a bit last yr....but this yr was not great....and lacks physicalityin a bug way....his bang aint worth his buck now....tome to get younger and better Kramdi isnt good...Just cause Osh says so..so some scribes here write his thoughts dont make it so.....Kramdi wouldnt start anywhere in the league at SAM....BUT saying that to you is pointless as Osh is the man....well in your eyes...you either are related...are him...or he's sleeping with you....which is it? Kramdinat north of 145K is a bargain for what you get?....man I used to think you had decent foorball knowledge
  22. I think you can when the cbs and safety are on rookie deals.
  23. Kolo is 150k minimum...may be a shade above...Thomas with his 121 yrs on the team isn't making chump change either...certainly well north of 110...120 k no he wasnt.....he was decent but not irreplaceable...especially at 140k...yeah he got a nod for all-star.....but he wasnt our best db by any stretch We would be just fine replacing him and be no worse for wear...and save a pile of cash...and become a more physical group....one that can tackle effectively...consistently
  24. You move on from: 1. Jake because he's not productive (9 tackles this year in 18 games), isn't cheap. 2. Kyrie Wilson because he's older, you have two young Canadian linebackers who need time and he's solid but not an all-star. 3. Kolo-He's the worst center in the CFL. 4. Streveler-Injuries have taken a toll. 5. Schoen-See above. 6. Mitchell and Logan-Signings that didn't work out. Then you need to have serious discussions about: 1. Jefferson-I don't think he's worth 200k. I think he's on the decline. I don't buy the lack of production entirely being about scheme. Now if he was on a cheaper contract and you knew he was going to rotate, maybe he's back. 2. Vaughters-Not sure he's worth 165,000. Honestly I think you need to move on from at least one of Vaughters and Jefferson. 3. The secondary. Holm, Nichols and Kramdi all made between $140,000 and $150,000. I don't think you can afford to spend some much on the secondary. Not sure who you let go. Parker given his injury history and inconsistent performance likely needs to be moved on from. 4. Oline-Do Stan and Neufeld want to come back? Should they?
