I agree that Randolph most likely isn’t done in the CFL. I also think it’s valid to have concern about Bryant. I liked Poncius right from rookie camp. He’s a few years younger than Randolph and I think he has a tonne of potential.

neither had any success in the run game, poncius was worse in pass protection and last year randolph was our best ol. I’m not surprised we finally picked between vanterpool and randolph. I like randolph better, but neither showed nearly well enough and vanterpool is more useful with how we will roster the ol. A pure pass blocking rt is useful, but I don’t think randolph was gonna turn into a roadgrader. Which vanterpool is, but wallace’s versatility to possibly be a rt long term and fill in in a pinch does make randolph even more expendable. At the same time, Bryant was worrisome in his limited reps. Media drooled over him in camp, but I didn’t see it. I worry he’s dropped off even more. I’m sure randolph will get a look else where, and very may well work out for another team. I’m a randolph guy, but the move does make sense. Especially since it seems like we might be filling up the ir organically and not really able to use it to hide guys.

Poncius was better than Randolph in the preseason games and his ceiling is higher imo. Plus the man is a unit physically. We’ve already got three experienced CFL American ol on the roster. Randolph is redundant at this point.

I think we're going to be fine. Week 1 - Okay Vernon Adams has carved us a new A-Hole once or twice in the past. Who knows how that will pan out Week 2 - Home opener, Hamilton. Doesn't really scare me Week 3 - Bye Week 4 - Home Edmonton. Dub First month, done. No reason we can't be at least 2-1 IMO.

Agreed that we wanted him but he went at #6 and we didn't pick again until #11. Worked out in the end though. He was just starting to really establish himself as a pro when he hit FA and came home.

I don’t think the chances eli is healthy to start the year is good at all. I think Eli, moxey, demski and vaval all go to the ir. Ceresna i think will play maybe partial banged up or atleast not 100%. I’m not sure our vet lbers are 100% either.

Demski we were absolutely going to draft but Taman scooped us one spot before.

I always thought Logan Stanley was the Faith Ekakitie of the Jets. We took Sukh Chungh over Demski in 2015. Etienne was drafted in 2011. 4th overall. Still no idea why we didn't take Coehoorn instead.

In regards to Daniels not getting targets…. Is it possible that they view him as a bit of a surprise element for week 1 and didn’t want to put anything about him other than blocking on film.

The internet now exists at my cabin for a ridiculous fee but we pay per month of use we are there and in winter we don’t. Internet is everywhere. I’ll say this bell just sent me a free crave TV thing, that might be the better long term cfl streaming app but maybe they got good international numbers on cfl plus and dazn is more international. But if you want ppl to watch pre season games you gonna have to make production at least amateurish as opposed to the stupidity that was yesterdays cfl plus and I get that’s YouTube but production levels were embarrassingly bad. The Buffalo Gals have a studio here, they could spruce it up. lol.

That’s actually a solid comparison in more ways than one. Jets also traded up and reached to draft Logan. Logan tho got a nice return this year, DD? I dunno. I don’t see it. I will admit I wasn’t there live so was hard to notice but did not notice him.

Clinton must have declined a PR spot. I thought he showed enough to get in the PR at least. Randolph being cut is sort of a surprise I guess, but he doesn’t play C and it’s a numbers game with the other OL spots. Lister and the new global punter would have been nice to see kept around in some way but it’s not like they were going to cut Sergio. Agree with the others on here that we inexplicably don’t even try to draft any kind of impact offensive players. Last one was probably Brady and that was what 7 years ago?

It’s ironic that senacle put up 2 TDs last night and Daniels wasn’t even noticeable. This fascination with reaching for career special teamers is wild and the video they posted definitely made it seem like a KW organizational way of thinking. Not just that 20 second clip tho, interviews and just past actions show it’s an organizational direction. Like instead of going with talent they go character and over coming odds.its almost like American idol where saddest personal story wins or in this case makes the team. Bombers would Start Rudy. And that should be Daniels nickname. Rudy. Now I liked Rudy but we have a few 2 many of them types where they do 1 thing maybe and that’s it, Rudy prob be a good cfl special teams guy, not sure Daniels corks etc are.

Kind of annoying that we had 300 chances to draft Cenacle and he went off and had 111 yards and 2 TDs against us.
