  1. Past hour
  2. Sounds like Perfetti’s injury might not be minor. That would be a big blow. Hopefully it’s not serious…. It didn’t look too bad.
  3. Today
  4. Perf and DeMelo got hurt..........I gotta figure out how to stay up late again
  5. The 3 teams are being relocated for NEXT season. They have already announced that Columbus is getting one of the teams. But, your are correct in that they are looking at teams playing in small stadiums.
  6. Yes - as mentioned above. End of the road for the WF. Have to hold out hope for the WSF and take the long road.
  7. Merger talks have already begun.... Zero question.
  8. Yes and then couple that with having to pee like a racehorse but then getting stagefright when you have to face the dreaded trough....lol...
  9. Last year at least he seemed very feast and famine. He'd end up with 70 yards but how did he get there? a bunch of 2 yard carries, a couple decent runs in the 5-7 range and then something in the 30+ range. So you get one good drive out of him but the rest of the time he is stalling your offense. He seems to be a bit more consistent this year, but in this game... 18 carries for 53 yards and a long of 8 is rough... yeah he was running the QB Short Yardage package but that is still not great. No doubt in my mind Brady ends up in front at the end of the season, his average is right around the other leaders but he's only been below that number once in the last 6 games, the LDC where he inexplicably only got 5 carries. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at 1400 yards on the year.
  10. but why be honest when you can stick your head in the sand and hide behind hyperbolic appeal to authority based on 4 year old success. Same issues that had a great team needing to hit on a hof qb in 19 and prior are bad with a vengeance. We’ve all seen the warts, we all know the reality of how we limit our own success. Now, ever one does any way. Though some still try to hide from it. thomas/kola. Thomas could be serviceable as the least played dl. But he’s the least capable of being effective in heavy reps. And our Ds biggest need is disruption on the line.
  11. When I watch Ouelette play, how can a back run for over 1,050 yards so far & look so useless doing it. He's really no threat as a back. Brady is going to catch & pass him unless Hogan ***** it all up with his playcalling. I still think Brady can be the leading rusher in the CFL.
  12. I fondly remember burning my tongue and upper part of my mouth with a ridiculously lava hot chocolate during the Grey Cup back in the day. It was like 99% water with a 1% tinge of chocolate powder.
  13. So that is the end of the Bombers hopes for the West Division isn't it? Can only get to 11 wins and the Riders are already there... could conceivably make it to 11 but the Riders have the tie breaker. If it's the Riders, Bombers and Lions at 11 wins, Riders would get the tiebreaker because they would be 4-2 vs 3-3 and 2-4. If its all 4 I think the Stamps actually come up on top.
  14. There are 4 teams that haven't won a Grey Cup since Ottawa did (2016) (BC, Edmonton, Hamilton, Saskatchewan). Of those, since Ottawa last appeared in a Grey Cup (2018) only Hamilton has even appeared in one. That play was really only between two people at that point... It's almost impressive that a 250 LB Defensive Lineman was able to hold off a 200 LB RB as long as he did running with the ball... looking at the replay it looked like he only had a 3 or 4 yard head start and actually stretched it a bit before he started to gas.
  15. My Gramma took me to this game when I,was kid. I remember it being a blow out but remember it more for spilling hot chocolate on my hand and getting burned very badly. Had a giant blister on my hand and had to go to the doctor later that week lol.
  16. Dru Brown have a Nick Arbuckle career arc?
  17. ufl announces it’s shutting down 3 teams, memphis, michigan, and san antonio. but that it’s also looking to expand in the next few years and focus on smaller more intimate stadium/markets.
  18. Best shoot-out goal ever.
  19. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46479713/arthur-jones-won-super-bowl-ravens-dies-39 Brother of former UFC champ Jon Jones and former NFL'er Chandler Jones.
  20. This officiating is horrendous. Incredibly one sided.
  21. Well, no West Final for the first time since 2019... Time to take the long road. Hope we can get the WSF anyhow.
  22. Really good post. Thanks I haven't been able to follow the team or watch the games like in previous years but still catching highlights and checking stat lines. I saw strev completed like 3-5 passes in a game hahaha And we won. Wild
  23. The entire time he's been here... There's been complaining.
  24. Just a chronic culture of losing.
  25. It actually goes back before they won a cup...
