Up first:  Pittsburgh Penguins, my secondary team to cheer for.

 

I guess their worst start since Sid's rookie year could be because of their lousy defense.  Or bad coaching.  Or Kessel.

 

But in reality its because I took Fleury in my pool every year for 10 years until last year when I was fed up, he has his best year ever and then I took him this year and now he sucks. 

 

But really, whats the deal?  They might be the first to can their coach.

That';s a very interesting though actually.  ofcourse this implies we somehow get Hamonic to replace Trouba.  But even if the Jets pick, say 4th, do you do the deal?  Perhaps with Edmonton adding?

So Burmi and Enstrom instead of Trouba?

Would you make that deal if you had the 1st?

5th-7th pick in the draft and Enstrom and Burmi for 1st overall?

no of course I wouldn't make that deal.  That's like asking me for $20 and then making me take out your garbage and mow your lawn.  But it sounds like Babcock might do that deal if Toronto got the first.

Nobody is making either of these trades.

Sure would be great if Chevy trades Ladd today so we can stop with these imaginary deals and lineups.

I'd trade the 4th and Myers for 1st....Trouba and 4th I'd have to think about but would probably still do it.

this is kind of a moot point unless we all agree on who would go first overall.  Who is the hottest prospect this year?

everyone.........most say he would have gone before Eichel last year.

Oh wait, I think I saw him playing for the US at the World Juniors.  Looked good, but not good enough to give up Trouba or Myers to get him.  Sorry.

This guy appears to be ranked ahead of Matthews on some sites.  Never heard of him either.

I still don't understand why Kyle Connor wasn't on that US world Junior team.  Makes no sense.
