Interesting that the suspension was overturned because of process and not merit. The NFL didn’t properly inform Brady of the punishment he faced, or even what he was accused of. The NFL didn’t let Brady’s camp question NFL executive and counsel Jeff Pash at his appeal. The NFL didn’t give Brady’s side the opportunity to examine the evidence against him.

My guess is, they won't get away with it. Ironic isn't it? NFL says they will appeal. They should appeal. The judge viewed Brady as a defenseless hopelessly oppressed working class stiff. The truth is, Brady is a multi millionaire, with first class representation, that was involved in influencing, a conspiracy maybe, to have undue advantage by not inflating to the NFL specifications on ball pressure. A specification he obviously was very aware of. But judges have very wide decision making powers. Appeals judges only have very limited scope to overturn, a colleague's decision. Robert Kraft's post decision statement is clearly self serving and appears to embolden Tom Brady and reaffirm his self entitlement. But there's nothing illegal about that statement. It's just slimy. Why isn't Kraft making a statement about the two clods that his team suspended?

September 4, 201510 yr This is just like the spying on other teams. It turned out after the Patriots got hammered for that, that all of the teams were doing it. Some other NFL coaches admitted it. NFL needs a new commissioner. re deflated footballs, here's one opinion I'd value over any fan or sports commentor…. "Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer doesn't think the deflated footballs had anything to do with determining the winner of the AFC Championship, but he does think something else the Patriots did will resonate this offseason.
