So we got a Hickman afterall, hooray!

Positive: Two-year starter who finished with 44 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks as a senior. Average-sized defensive line prospect with a solid game. Plays with good knee bend and fires off the snap with a terrific first step. Focused on by opponents but splits double-team blocks, effectively using his hands to protect himself. Keeps opponents away with violent hand punch. Keeps his feet moving on contact, plays with both power and quickness, and easily changes direction. Shows the ability to pursue down the line of scrimmage to get to the action.

Negative: Does not play with consistent intensity. Marginally productive in college.

Analysis: Hickman shows a good combination of athleticism and power as well as the ability to be a playmaker when he applies himself. Possessing average size, he's a potential 3-technique tackle with pass rushing skill and may also get looks at fullback based on his size and athleticism.

Well if he isn't there today we will need to come up with another excuse from the " where is American player and why didn't he report for duty with his CFL team as expected" handbook.

We have already used Visa problems. Which is pretty funny considering he had already been in Canada with the Argos. I have to admit "we let him go on a pre- planned family vacation" was a new one to me.

So this week options include...

a) sick family member

NFL interest

C) **** him we didn't need him anyway.

Maybe "Where's Thaddeus this week?" this could replace the Lock of The Week as a game for MBB posters?

One of the craziest Etch schemes ever was where he was lining up a 225 pound Kitwana Jones at Defensive Tackle.  He did that a lot.

The analysis GB posted did say this guy could line up at fullback so maybe he's not here to play on the D-line!

Well the obvious answer is Anderson... Now who starts that's another question entirely. 

I watched one of his interviews and he said he can do a lot of everything he can punt, he can longsnap. maybe an emergency replacement punter and a longsnapper?

I would much rather see Hickman and Turner at DT than Thomas and play Richardson and Pall at one end and Peach & Booker at the other.

Anyone know how the replacements (Pall, Booker?) fared in the game against BC?

As I never heard or caught sight of them during the broadcast I assume they were relatively mediocre.
