Yup, this is how you do it, these guys aren't that hard to beat, you just gotta know how to do it and who to single out on offense and defense.

 

1.  Take Arceneaux out of the game.  It's no surprise BC's offense did nothing until he came back.  Kevin Glenn locks into this guy, so limit him to no catches and half of BC's offense becomes defunct and they will be forced to give Harris 60 carries in the game, he's not able to handle that load.

 

2.  Pull O-linemen downfield to block Adam Bighill, so long as he's taken away from RBs and receivers, you can run plays down that way and start beating their linebackers on screens and slants through the middle.  That would be my way of attacking the Leos, run a ton of slant patterns at them in the middle of the field, just bump Bighill out of the way.

 

We get back on track in this one, winning 35-21

well I'd think any team starts to get pretty thin when you're 4 deep on the depth chart.

Carter is still a maybe and we don't know what his ceiling is, but, alas, both we and the Roughies know what Etienne's ceiling is- sort of similar to that of a crawl space.

Which IMP receivers are we going to dress?  Our NI's are probably better than the available options, excluding the guys who don't even have a week of practice in yet.

This whole "depth problem" with Nationals that a lot of the CFL is experiencing is easy to fix.... CHANGE THE RATIO.... with Ottawa in the league there are now 21 extra Canadians (with 7 starting) who are were not even good enough to be back ups last year.... there is simply not enough quality Canadian players to sustain this ratio

I've gotta bad feeling that were gonna get our asses handed to us in this game. They've got to somehow limit Harris' touches and Make Glenn beat us with his arm. Which hopefully means he throws up a lot of picks. I think that's our only chance IMO.

Gotta come down to taking Glenn's short-medium passing and limiting Harris's running. Grigsby has to have a good night for us.

Give the BC  D a  huge tray of hash brownies for pre game dessert.  

Beating BC is simple, hit Glenn early and often. If he's uncomfortable he ain't good. You let him get into a groove and he can be quite good and having backs like Harris and Logan can make things very balanced. So yeah, bury Glenn a few times it'll take care of itself. 

 

 

Said every team Glenn has ever beaten. Glenn ain't easy to hit, Randle on Arcenaux with safety help might work

 

 

That's just it.  I'm pretty sure he's looked like a surgeon against every team in the league at one point or another.

 

Thing is, every team in the league has also made him look like wet garbage.
