Which CFL newcomer will make the biggest impact in Blue N Gold ?

New Poster here - Since we have signed an assortment of players with

NFL pedigree, I have been wondering which player from down south could not only be a starter but have the biggest impact for the Bombers this year?

Drew Willy/Gerald McGrath

Kenny Tate should be interesting in a platoon LB/DE roll.

Drew Willy is not a new comer... I will reserve judgement until after TC...usually you can tell if someone will be a bright spot on the defense after watching TC...

the more I read about Gerald McGrath, the more I'm excited to see what he can bring.

McRath, Maurice Leggett, Leon Williams, and Mario Urrutia are all interesting prospects.  Certainly whoever wins the starting MLB job will have a great chance at making an impact.

I don't know enough about all of the newcomers to have an opinion on this. I just hope that we have more studs than duds this season.

If Austin Coleman can catch and learn the waggle could be a very dangerous guy in the slot.

Chris randle, nick Moore and Drew willy

I like t many of the prospects to only choose one or two

2 drops in the PM session today

Jeff Richards reminds me of Johnny Sears.

Are you at mini camp in Bradenton?

Nope, just relaying some reports. The Richards comment was based off some of the film I saw (not from today)

Hopefully a kicker, running back, linebacker and one of our draft picks finish tied in votes (not at 0) for our rookie award at the end of the season.

I'm more interested in some of the younger imports they've signed, most of the NFL castoffs in their late 20's early 30's are coming off serious injury, and motivation/entitlement is always a concern.

Total guess based on nothing but bob irving and others opinions but Kenny Tate and the MLB Mcrath for sure

However, if we have a new running back, he might make the most impact.

Really crossing my fingers for Grigsby. Now that he appears to be serious about football I'd like to see what he can do on a Canadian field.

Not sure how he did in mini camp but Stafford Gatling sounds excited to be part of the Bombers as well.

@s_DOT_g36: It was an honor to partake @Wpg_BlueBombers mini camp with a group of great guys and coaches. Excited about the upcoming season #gobombers

McGrath seems to have a very positive attitude- not bemoaning missing out on the NFL fantasy at all. And his credentials seem impressive, so I will pick him to come in to camp and blow his competition away.

I think Kenny Tate seems to be that midsize player with the tools to play all over the field (Dime, DE, LB) and will be a lock as a DI and will terrorize the opposition with Etch's chaotic principles. I believe he will be motivated to turn this CFL gig into an NFL opportunity in two years time.

I will hedge my bet with Grigsby as a tailback that will turn some heads!

I find it a strange coincidence that NFL Draft Scout compared Tate to Gerald McRath in the scouting reports. He was also a receiver which means he should have a pretty good instincts to pick a few off.
