Argos at Bombers- Looking ahead

Curious if anyone's heard who's been taking starting reps so far at QB, defense gonna have to play the way they played that second half the entire game vs Toronto.

When I lived in Winnipeg I went to a gym where there were two signs in the men's dressing room that read: Please do not sit naked on the couches Please use blow dryers for their intended purposes

It was fantastic for Kelowna. Everyone I know who went had a great time. The Lions even hosted a "Canada-Morocco viewing party before their second game. We need more Domans in this country owning CFL

I imagine that the Bombers will share in some of that revenue otherwise what's in it for them?? The Argos chose to play here instead of doing what the Lions did playing in Langford, BC as well as Kelowna. Amar Doman, the owner of the Lion s has done so much for the Lion s & football in BC. Spent a ton of money to get the fans back. Meanwhile, MLSE owned by communications giant Rogers won't spend a penny to grow the CFL in Southern Ontario. So they change the Argos home game from BMO Field to Princess Auto Stadium because they want the money.... If I'm Wade Miller. "I'm going what's in it for the Bombers??" I'd insist on a 60/40 split for the Argos. If they say no, fine then play the game in the USport town they had training camp in.

Argos’ radio guy was saying that their interior dl has been really good but the ends have been a weak spot. Running outside might be the way to go.

Yup but BO doesn’t come across to me as a RB who likes to take it out wide. :) He makes his own holes with his true north south battering style of running.

Yeah you can really see the contrast there. Doman used the inconvenience as a chance to grow the league in BC and turned it into something special. MLSE completely dumped on the Argos and the CFL yet again.

With a little bit of creativity and what would amount to a drop in the bucket for a corporation like Rogers, they could have played a couple of games in London and done something similar.

Just a wasted opportunity to grow the league and the Argos fanbase outside of the GTA.

Doman just has to figure out how to run a football team now...

And make some revenue.

He's got the most beautiful stadium in Canada, just has to fill it with people. FIFA filled it, time for the Lions to figure out how to do it. Hint - "Rum Hut".

The stadium in London holds at least 10000 seats on both sides of the field. They could have easily expanded it to 25000 but those corporate snakes in Toronto wanted the money from games in Regina & Winnipeg.
