  • Say all you want about the deteriorating talent on the team but Hogan is completely in over his head as an offensive coordinator.

  • Also congratulations to our senior members who, despite apparently being fortunate that they’re not shitting themselves, can still formulate a better sentence than some of us young guys around here

  • I come into each game day with a renewed sense of optimism. I always believe we have at least a chance to win. As I get older, the shittiness of a loss seems to wash away quicker.

Was already starting to break in 2022...all they needed was a lil flex seal...and then 2023..2024...still ignored it...and welcome to 2025....and if after this yr nothing is changed...2026 gonna be a sad joke

Unless they majorly retool in FA (and even that might not be enough) 2026 will be a 2-4 win season.
I don’t see any way out of a full rebuild at this point tbh. Major 2004 vibes.

Pessimists. There's nothing wrong with this team that can't be addressed in short order... the question is whether they'll do what is necessary.

Outside of losing out and the last game being meaningless, this is the team they'll run with for the rest of the year. Im expecting zero changes Outside of what injury dictates

we have pieces to solve some problems. we do not have the answer at qb, ol, 40 des, or canadian depth. and it isn’t going to come in short order.

It’s not pessimism, it’s the reality. top end canadian talent, ol, and qbing are the hardest things to find and slowest to build.  We aren’t likely to fix that stuff in free agency this year either. we need a massive developmental surge, but young guys are hard stuck behind old under performers.

I would, but we’d never sadly. That at rb are the only positions we are capable of pushing a ni up the ar if needed with out causing serious issues. we are paper thin behind starters rn. If kramdi, a wr, ol, or dl goes down in game we are in serious trouble.

If they lose 2 wr today, might as well just pack up and go home.

That’s just it. I’m sure we can bring in a few top end Americans in FA if we choose to, but QB, OL and Canadians are really big question marks. You can maybe fix one of those in an offseason but to have to deal with all 3 at once is damn near impossible.

I agree....its still easily fixable...but does this Braintrust have the wherewithal and sense to see what needs to be done...let alone do it?

I have little faith as Osh sees absolutely nothing wrong and has excuses for everything

We stand pat and hes in charge...we a sub 500 team next yr

They i bet if allowed to play...would be just fine...and allowed us do much ratio flexibility and use elsewhere

Zero resistance.  Zero pressure.

Good thing drew made poor decision there...

@Booch I thought you said Strevller will "have 0 INT and he runs for 70...throws for 260" ?

😄

I did yup...prob runs for more

He struggled for sure...but his oc is not helping him...I had hoped after last week JJ would have a lot of influence moving forward....I hoped wrong

Jackson prob can throw better than Streveler can so honestly what can an OC do when the QB is garbage. Run the ball. It’s what they did and won running the ball. I mean what exactly is Streveler strength? It’s not passing the ball more than 7 yards. ? Cuz that’s what it appears. He can run and that’s it so they ran and ran Ana ran and ran and ran and Streveler had 10 carries for 36 yds and a TD but also 1 more carry for 36 yards. So 11 for 72. 3 of 8 for 54 passing. (Good average completion but … less than 1 completed pass per quarter. Dru brown had more completions on the first drive.

so what can he do?

what’s this game plan that doesn’t exist for a qb who can’t pass look like. Run? Cuz that’s what they did.

actually....we recognized they were caught in player changing and ran a quick play before they were really set ...let alone realized where Wheatfall was.....was that a Miller call....or did Strev and Wheatfall adlib?....If I recall Wheatfall was out wide calling for pass as he saw the ticat guys racing to get set up

@DTonOB maybe you can find that out for us

Apologies for being away for so long.

You probably already heard the answer, but it was a called QB sneak. And then when Hamilton subbed on too many guys and none stayed out on Wheatfall, he signalled to Strevy/Strevy noticed it (not sure which was really first), and touchdown.
