People are criticizing MOS for doing what every football coach in the history of football does week in and week out. In order to replace veterans you have to have the players that will perform better than the veteran. Change for the sake of change is stupid. we do...and we dont

Compare roster usage around the league and you will quickly see how wrong you are. The only difference between OSH and the rest is his refusal to use the naturalized IMP. That is a big flaw for sure, Your assessment of Ayers is out to lunch. He was excellent in camp last year and was not kept solely for STs. We don`t dress extra DEs because they are ALL rostered already with the exception of Munier-Bailey. Some guys can transition to pros in a heart beat, some take longer. Like it or not, the coaching staff knows a 1000x better than any fan whether or not a guy is ready for the friday night lights. There is more to it than just physical. You have to learn how to be a pro mentally as well. If that were true Biggie would be a Bomber, not a Stamp. Except that Bighill was nowhere near ready to start the season, is still not ready and may never be. Forced O'Shea's hand- or maybe Walters made the decision.
