His administration had to deal with the worst terrorist attack in history on the US soil in 2001. It really was more of an act of war. Would you expect Cheney to be anything less than ruthless?

My son Tyler texted me this morning about the shooting of a former college coach at Laney College in Oakland, California. He was very upset & was questioning what is happening to society. Turns out the text was about former Laney College Head Coach John Beam. Tyler played against Beam & Laney College when he was at College Of The Siskiyous as they were in the same conference.

Beam saw Tyler throw at a private qb workout on the field at Laney College back in 2011. They talked about him attending Laney College but Oakland is an economically depressed city & the campus at laney is right in the middle of that urbal blight. It's a dangerous place. Poverty, homelessness, drug use & crime was & still is very high right around the campus.

When we were at the campus, the police came into the stadium to clear out people living in tents under the stands. Laney did not offer on campus residences so we'd have to have found somewhere for Tyler to live in the Hood,  No way he was going there.

Then Tyler saw the Netflix series last Chance U that featured John Beam & Laney College. He saw what kind of coach & leader that he was. When he found out Beam was shot dead, I could tell he was very upset. Rest In Peace, John Beam. For everything you did for others, you didn't deserve what happened to you. What a shitty world we live in.
