They won five in a row right after the Christmas break. 

They hit a rough spot in late January going into the all-star break/bye week. I'd say things really started to fall apart on that East Coast US road trip about a month ago, and then they returned home only to get pummeled by the Avs and Islanders in back-to-back games. That led to an ugly five-game skid and they've been basically .500 since (6-6-1), averaging 2.38 GPG while surrendering 3.15 GPG.

The last month or so has been an utter disaster for the Jets.

Yes, that definitely explains their lack of scoring.............

Hellebuyck has been fine, with very little help in front, as well. The issue is that the stars up front went MIA. Again, I feel like something happened to them mentally...maybe something went down in the room... I don't know. But whatever it was, they've collapsed.

Fanbase apathy has truly set in. They have no chance to advance even if they make the playoffs. They may win a game or two & take the opening series to 5 or 6 games but they'll lose. I don't care if they make the playoffs or not. I doubt if I'll spend a lot of timne watching. Just waiting for the CFL season to start.

Had we a few 3 game winning streaks maybe the fans would have a sliver of hope.   It feels like we win one, lose two,  barely win one, lose 2 by a large margin....  rinse and repeat.

If things play out perfectly, the Jets could eliminate the Flames on Wednesday, and could clinch as early as Thursday.
