Apples scores a quick one

two two on ones

And a soft goal given up by Brossoit leads to 2-1 leaf lead.  I can't believe how many people clamour for him to start more games. It's that soft **** that keeps you as a back up.

Even more nauseating is the blatant leaf bias by Cuthbert and Simpson.

saw one hit in the entire period

Lowry makes it 3-2

Attaboy Ehlers.. PP clicks and it's 4-2.  Lock it down fellas!

Love how Reilly is complaining about the call.

And Keefe draws a bench minor for laff nation.  Lol.

Everyone scored at least once today

I was laughed at when I suggested the Jets could be the best team in the North Division by the end of the season following the PLD trade. 5 of 6 points in Toronto.

If the Jets can bottle that defensive performance for every game, they would be a scary team come playoff time in the North.

This Jets team can absolutely win the North of they stay healthy. I have absolutely no clue how they match up with the rest of the league, but absolutely they can win the north.

We still need a top 4 defenseman to really take a run this year imo, that and staying healthy of course. Hats off to Stastny and Perreault, 2 vets that show the kids how to play.

really nice to have defencemen that are concentrating playing defence.

forwards might want to get back a bit quicker to help.

dont know half the players, but they look good.

too bad copp couldnt get that close in one up a few inches. easier said than done.

leafs are odd. one night swarming next night blah.

Meh. I can see why Torts yelled at him some times.

Speaking of Torts can we get him to call 44?

This is the same "challenge" every playoff team will face this season with the intradivisional only format this season. It adds an interesting wrinkle to the playoffs.

That third period on Saturday by the Jets was damn near a masterpiece of 200 ft. hockey. If they can play like that more consistently, they're in a fine spot to potentially win that North Division banner.

Also: the Leafs lost again yesterday. LOL

It’s a shame that in their first season they got swept by the Capitals late in the year. Otherwise they could have had a shot at having both a North division and a Southeast division championship banner along with their inevitable Central division banner.
