  • This is the single worst take on the Jets anyone has ever said.  That's actually impressively bad.

Or ideally even better Ehlers can retrieve the puck from the net, flip it to Perry after scoring his third goal of the game.

So, should the Jets go after Corey Perry early as retribution for the Ehlers fight? Perry was fighting outside his weight class (he has 3 inches and 34 pounds on Ehlers), so should we send another guy out to fight him early like the Canucks did on Sunday sending McEwen to challenge Forbert after the Hollander dust-up the game prior? And if so, whom?
Vote Lowry, Forbert, Thompson, other, or don‘t bother.

Yes, Perry needs to be brought in line, he thinks he's a tough guy taking on a smaller player who is not a fighter. I would hope that Lowry or Thompson would send Perry a message next game.

this. You think you're going to teach Corey Perry anything after this many years? Don't give him the attention he craves. The way you stick it to him is by thumping those assholes by 5 goals next time, and hopefully he's in the box for 1 or 2 of 'em.....

Oh forgot one thing. While Ehlers is flipping his hat trick puck to Perry, Ehlers says he hopes Perry enjoyed his seven minutes of ice time today. :)

I think of it less as attention he craves and more like the beating he deserves.

If Perry is even playing, it will be tough to seek retribution as he hardly sees the ice.  I never understand why teams waste roster spots on hasbeen old losers like Perry.  I guess because he's willing to play for food money and free hockey equipment.  Otherwise, what's the point of him being there?  And in other news, that Nate Thompson continues to impress eh? LOL

OMG, how is Bealieu a professional hockey player?

This 20 minute period feels more like 25-30.

Another brain fart by Hellebuyck, worst goal of the season!!!!!!

Yup, it was weak, but he made a huge save off of Gallagher a couple minutes later, to make up for it.

Lot of garbage in the Jets end tonight. Could not clear an empty table.

Next goal wins?

I'm really worried we've only got 16 shots on net.  Compared to the 32 against.   Jets don't look nearly as sharp as they should.

Before it’s  too late I’m calling Daneault for Montreal since he has not scored in a year and the announcers have brought up the drought all night.

Wheeler looks off tonight. Lots of lost puck battles and timing off. I assume he’ll score the winner now.

A win with less than 20 shots.  Wow. 4 game winning streak!

Stole 2 points!

So do we burn the tape or show the players how bad it was?

Jets didn’t deserve that game.... But fortunately, that doesn’t make any damn difference.

Oof going 9 minutes without a shot in the 3rd period that's not good.

Hey Rogers,Cbc why not make all Jets games at midnight so you can also fit in a 3 hour afterglow party for all  Leafs victories!

It was bonus for them last night. They had MTL playing a MTL-like team.
