I'm starting this thread as a side discussion of all things Corona Virus related. I understand that this is going to be discussed in almost all other topic threads but we could collect news and other items here. 

 

At work, many conferences have been cancelled.

NBA - Suspended.

NHL - About to be suspended. 

NCAA March Madness - Playing - no crowd. 

 

Political Rallies have been cancelled. 

Travel bans. 

 

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks tested positive. They're in Australia where testing is available. If they were in the US, they wouldn't have been tested. 

What was likely to happen...happened.

Now, we wait for the deflections...

This seems like it should be easy to find - but does anyone know of a site that lists world deaths by year?

in Canada, covid killed about the same amount of people this winter as the flu does over a year... I would suspect that rates of flu, heart disease, cancer and Alzheimer’s deaths will be lower as covid attacks vulnerable patients primarily

Given the mass stoopidity in the US and parts of Canada, I am doubtful this will be an object lesson.
