NFL thread

Surprised there isn't a thread dedicated to NFL discussion...I will start it off:

how about that Myles Garrett helmet swinging from last night??  It's all over social media if you haven't seen it.  Can't see him playing again this season.

Eagles were the better team tonight. Not even close honestly. Chiefs and  the Swift Army seriously humbled tonight.

So to answer the age old question, the Eagles OOOWWNNZ the Chiefs.

Garbage time points flattered the Chiefs. Eagles dominated the line of scrimmage without any need for blitz packages.

What a **** game. Well done eagles, but entertainment wise....booooooring!!

Any media in general include the pat mcafee show. Rodgers is cringe.

The Gaza protestors during the half time show were fun.

Yea how about enjoy your life but just go away and leave the world alone.

Eagles D front four domination really showed what that allowed the Eagles to do with the other 7 players to make PM's life even more difficult.

I don't know why specifically I found it interesting but the other thing that caught my attention was the Eagles putting in their back-up QB with a few minutes to go knowing the game was in hand and the championship was secured.

Don't think you would see that happening in a Grey Cup game but I could be wrong.

Well, pressure from the Front 7 won the Eagles a Super Bowl. Took Mahomes right off his game & neutralized the Chiefs offnse. Hey, Osh. You used to win too when you had a pressure defense that intimidated & sacked qbs. Now, you keep an OTH Canadian DL who should have retired after 2022.

Mahomes - We didn't win three in a row!
Collaros - First time?

A guy who made 30m in his career has to auction off his SB ring, that's just sad.

Well he was not the brightest player and tended to shoot himself in the leg when given opportunities.   :)

WTF?! (The Chiefs have announced they’ve entered into an agreement with the State of Kansas to host Chiefs football beginning with the 2031 NFL season. The franchise is designing and building a domed stadium and Arrowhead Stadium will no longer be the home of the Chiefs following the 2030 season.)

May be an image of ‎football and ‎text that says '‎העק 1S CHIEFS TO LEAVE ARROWHEAD STADIUM IN MISSOURI, WILL MOVE TO KANSAS IN 2031‎'‎‎

This is like the Giants & Jets moving from downtown New York to the Meadowlands, NJ about 20 or so miles away. It's in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Kansas City Kansas & Kansas City , MO may be two separate identities in 2 separate States so it's probably not a big deal to Chiefs fans in that way. KC  is all one big city. Back in the day, before Winnipeg & the surrounding cities amalgamated in 1971, it was like the Bombers having Winnipeg Stadium in St. James but not actually in Winnipeg. It was no big deal. They weren't the St James Blue Bombers. The sad part is the NFL losing an iconic football stadium like Arrowhead.

Missouri saved a lot of money.

Travelled through both KC's on a bus a decade back. KC, KS felt like an industrial park.

Lots of people in Missouri are laughing today.  58% of the voters in Jackson County (the county in MO that would have imposed / collected a Chiefs tax) voted against the tax.

Luckily for Phil Hunt, the owner of the Chiefs, the Chiefs taxes could be implemented in Kansas without requiring a vote.

Johnzo, since you live in Metro Seattle, I'm sure the Seahawks are glad that DK Metcalf is gone. What a distraction this week would have been for them if that incident occurred with the Seahawks trying to clinch the NFC West.

Man I have no idea what Metcalf was thinking.  Disrupting his team, getting suspended during crunch time of the season, and voiding millions in guaranteed money.  Just bad all round.

quite a season by the Hawks this year.  I was not expecting them to be a divisional contender!
