Scuttlebutt is he’s a legit top 4 d man. RHD.  He’s apparently quite good.  

Think I’d have preferred Dillon from San Jose for his size.  DD is only 6’1 190 lbs.

He's not very big, but is decent defensively. The fancy stat guys like him. He'll for sure be in our top four.

Well, if he's a legit top 4 and has good fancy stats, he should definitely help.  Hopefully he'll work out and want to stick around.

Be interesting if jets can take a run at Dillon too.  Totally make over the top four.  Dillion is a lefty. 

If they extend this guy after getting him for a 3rd rounder, this is highway robbery from Chevy.....fantastic.

Yup. Even a third for a rental is good value. Well if we made the playoffs anyway.  Clearly their desire is to extend him.  

I wonder if he or his agent had communicated to the Sens, that he wasn't interested in re-signing with them?  As others have mentioned; a 3rd round pick isn't much to give up for a top 4 D.

Hes our 2nd best D man now. Could be argued hes an upgrade on Pionk cuz hes actually a very good shutdown guy. His fancy stats on a shitty ottawa team are better than every Jets D including 44

I read there as interest but no offer was made to the player.  Interesting. 

Wouldn’t mind the jets looking at Pageau or domi.  

SJ Dillon is off to the Capitals.
