Game Time : Thursday 7PM , TSN3

Game Story : Start the clock on another season but wait...this one is different. The fans and the critics expect the Jets to contend once again for Lord Stanley's Cup. What's in their way? The other teams know Helle is coming and some have improved. Also the schedule is pretty normal with no 10 in a row at home stretches.

 

This years games themes are songs about the city the team is from.

It's hard to pull him. Obviously not his night but his D has let him down. Not much he can do on those.

Really like the fact that they scored and then didn't give up moment but kept the hammer down...

I know its just game 1 but STL improved a lot during the off-season and we smooshed them.

This could swing the Portage and Main vote.

 

one game - only one game...but yeah liked what I saw out there.

Wheels could have helped him out by not taking that penalty. I thought Helle deserved a shutout after the Jets took a 5-0 lead. 

But, I guess he felt he needed to send a message.

Looked pretty good. Some room for improvement for sure. That Roslo line was ok but will take some time. Unfortunately that means Ehlers time is reduced. Seemed he pissed off maurice

I'm not sure about that he pissed PoMo off. I think he suits that line. As the season goes on, I bet they get more and more time until they're rivaling Little's line.

I hope so.  Ehlers getting only 10 minutes of ice is not good.  I know game circumstances can dictate match ups, etc., but that's not enough time.
