Bighill this weeks top performer

Featured Replies

Imo harris out played wilder. Soo much more efficient. Iirc 10 or so less yards on 6 less touches. Harris was a shade under 100 yards at the half, we gave him a rest late in the game too.

Bighill had a great game against BC exactly as advertised after a so-so game against the Ti-Cats.

Helps when Bighill isn't running a lousy blitz package right up into the A/B's.   Watching him roam free from both the hashes to the back of the box, is much better.

Give them a few weeks - they’ll overthink it again at some point.

I am not a strategy guy but when the opposition has such a bad O line there is so much pressure that a linebacker is useful just to catch the bird from the flush.

Amazing what happens when you actually let a guy play his position instead of some ridiculous DT/LB combo

Will bighill only be a rental for this year or does Walters try and sign him to an extention?

Given his production and intangibles.....Walters would probably like an extension....so would MOS.

We dont have a ton of flexibility right now. I think goosen is coming up for a new deal soon. Maybe hardrick too. Jeffcoat, jsk etc cant be far back either. Our young guys who are becoming proven vets will need money and to make that money we will have to make moves in the next 2 years.

Another big, big factor will be streveler. IF he doesnt chase the nfl dream in the next two years he will at this rate require a large bump in salary to keep. No doubt we want to keep biggie long term, if we can. We are approaching the point in that period of time where great franchises roll over vets for younger guys who are as good or better.
