So what made him cancel out the Jets in the end? $$?

If the money was similar and the chance to win was similar and treatment by the team was similar, with no emotional connection to either place...he's an American plus Las Vegas has certain benefits over Winnipeg.

I thought it was pretty widely reported VGK offered Stastny more.

taxes are lower I believe.  Other than that, downtown Vegas vs downtown Winnipeg, not much difference really?  😁

 

Victor Rask is terrible, Nino used to get under the skin of some Jets, good riddance😀

I have always loved Nino as a player...would take him on any of "my" teams any day....that's an awful deal for Minnesota.

Av's sent Tyson Jost down to the AHL.

I can see the appeal of acquiring a centre for a winger but why Rask? He has 1 goal this season. LOL

Maybe salary dump?

We got an IHOP now.

But it's not downtown so Vegas does have that as an advantage.

Muzzin or an LHD of his kind would be nice. Id pass on Hayes.

I would do that in a heartbeat. No way the Senators would do this and why would they. A late round first pick and top-line AHLer?

Have the Jets resolved themselves that Petan won't be a regular NHLer? Or can we hold out hope he may be a late bloomer?

Hes been passed on the depth chart by appleton Lemieux and others.. Im thinking Vesa and Spacek even.
