He should be grateful he got to play so many years in the best pro hockey league in the world with minimal talent with the exception of dropping his gloves.

Good for him. Deserves a shot like Redmond.

and Peluso is a Crapital

Shocked.

yeah well at this rate we might as well refer to the moose as the waiting room, waiting to play in the nhl, waiting to be moved to another team, whatever the case

Jets sign centre Michael Sgarbossa for 1 year 650k.

Played 38 game with Florida and Anaheim last year.

Signed for the Moose and depth callup?

oh yes I guess the moose have some spots to fill now since Peluso is now playing elsewhere

68 contracts, $236.3 million. So far.

Word Jets might be working on one more.

Also they haven't announced the Kulikov signing yet.

Dano can be picked up off waivers now if sent to minors?

Hoping the Kulikov signing doesn't come back to hurt us.  $3M AAV instead of $4M would have been better. Hopefully he can return to form and play up to the contract.

If Trouba extends, could see Myers getting traded.  Can't have that money playing on your 3rd pairing.

I think they will be alright.  Kulikov replaces Enstrom.  Chiarot, Poolman, Niku, bargain signing for 3rd pair next summer.  Sign Trouba and Ehlers.  Look at moving Perreault with Connor/Roslovic coming through to replace him.  Depending on what happens with Myers this season he's a trade/buyout candidate next off-season too.  Little is a minor raise IMO with term, like 5x5.5 or something like that.

Don't think you afford little on that kind of term if you are signing Trouba and Ehlers long term as Laine will only be a year behind them with his ELC expiring.

Comes a time when you can't over pay veteran's and have to let the younger players take over, this will happen to Buff and Wheeler if they want big dollar extensions.

If Jets can re-sign a healthy Toby at $2.5-3.5 for two years that might not be bad...

D-core is going to be expensive in 2018...

Trouba - $8m

Buff - $7.6m

Morrissey - $2.8 bridge or $4.5

Kulikov - $4.3

Myers - 5.5

Poolman - $2m

Myers, Enstrom, Perreault, Matthias, Little, Laine, Ehlers, Trouba.  There's $30 million tied up in those guys right now including bonuses for cap number for the ELC guys.  I think that's enough money (plus open cap space) to manage the extensions for the guys they want to keep from that group and fill the spots of the guys they want to replace with internal options on ELC's and some UFA/trade options.  They are in decent shape.  As good as you can be putting together a decent roster in the cap system.

Not a fan of either of them on their own but Enstrom and Kulikov fulfilling 2nd/3rd pairing roles and PK duties is not bad at all.

Morrissey/Trouba

Kulikov/Buff

Enstrom/Myers

PP

Laine/Trouba

Morrissey/Buff

PK

Enstrom/Myers

Kulikov/Trouba
