I found this interview very interesting.  A lot of soft balls thrown at Trump, he explained his back pedalling on his more extreme issues as a lot of his claims as opening bids for negotiation purposes.  Which .. whatever .. I still think that those are insincere claims he used to get elected.

He does now come across way more presidential then he did prior to the election.  A lot of his noise, yelling, and rhetoric has been scaled back.

To get the National Guard on sight they need to go up the chain of command to the DOD and we know that Trump has put lackey's in powerful position's there

And that's why DC needs to be a state... the deployment of the National Guard in this case, falls to the potus...

Any thought Democrats had about not pursuing some criminal charges against Trump after he leaves.....

Simply forget it.

 

The sad thing as that country fades from being a global leader to a regional one, they'll continue to attack their neighbours. We will feel the impact as they fade and try to take others down with them. Small countries have already felt their wrath and incompetence, and we'll be next. 

Next time a politician wants to poo poo about politics or anything else going on in another country he should think about what happened today before they say anything and just shut up America doesn't have that right anymore

I know someone in the world who is laughing his ass off right now

Hoping for minimal injuries obviously, maybe this is what had to happen to hold Trump, his enablers and their supporters accountable for their ongoing actions and words over Trump's tenure. Social media accounts held by these people will negate any type of walkback rhetoric from this buffoons happening right now as we experience this historic event. We are seeing it in real time on social media that some of these enablers seem to be realizing what they've done. Law and order needs to ensure they are punished to the full extent of the law as a clear deterrent.

I wonder if James Comey is rethinking his op ed piece about arguing Trump should not be prosecuted after leaving office.

The National Guard was called and their request was denied. These are white privileged people, not the dirty brown and black people that were peacefully protesting this summer.
