LimJahey
Interesting to hear that Lawless asked him about a trade. What do you think the Blue would have to give up to get him in Blue and Gold?
Noeller
It's moot...he's not going anywhere right now. He said several times, he just wants Als management to make changes so they can win. He wants to win there.

Jpan85
Nik Lewis is my favourite non Bomber. People laughed when I suggested the bombers should bring him in when he was a FA. Just a productive clutch player.
Atomic
Love Nik Lewis. Not sure the Bombers have room for him right now unfortunately. As the year wears on and the Als fall further out of it, I'm sure he could be had for a late draft pick (6th?) plus neg list player or something like that. Stickem
I'd luv to have Truck Lewis....What's not to like about this bulldozer...He can catch and if he ever gets up a good head of steam...clear the track, takes two to bring him down...I had to laugh watching some of the Ottawa defenders last night getting run over and looking for a license plate number...Big Nic would do the trick..Wouldn't trade a lot for him if it came to that , but he sure would be nice to have when the cold weather hits us and the big chill hits the air...Dare I say in one of our post season games..........No.. on second thought I won't say that and jinx us... Tracker
Lewis has been and is a team player and class act.....if he was a couple of years younger, and the Bombers were in contention, he would be valuable.
Bomber_fanaddict
If we could manage to have Harris, Lewis, Dressler, Smith in a line up that would make any of lefores, boltus, hall, Marve, Willy, Nichols, Goltz Etc. Etc. Etc. look like Calvillo
JuranBoldenRules
Don't really see a need for Lewis. He's not that good anymore. We have better guys who will be sitting out soon. The fact he has a prominent role in Montreal speaks more to why they are struggling than his ability currently IMO.

Lewis has 669 yards receiving on a mediocre team. Our closest receiver to him is Darvin Adams at 503. We could use him.

Jpan85
I don't think there is a better receiver in the league in that 5-15 yard range. Still gets open with the best of them and has really good hands.

This is such a bad take, guy is pretty much a tight end out there, could use a guy who never drops anything and with that size.
Bomber_fanaddict
I don't think we absolutely need him but we could definitely use him! I've made fun of Thick Nik for years buts it's only because he's not playing for the Bombers. If there was an opportunity to get him here I would be all for it. But I'm also not going to lose sleep over it if we don't

Mike
If we were having trouble converting on second down and medium, I'd agree with this need to bring him in. However no team is better at it than we are, so I don't get the point in adding someone like Nik Lewis.
Noeller
He might be good, but I just can't psychologically wrap my head around condoning this giant tub of **** masquerading as a pro athlete. The guy makes me think I could be a star.........and that ain't right. Wanna-B-Fanboy
Jpan85
It's funny because he works pretty hard in the offseason and is good shape.
TBURGESS
Thick Nick can play on my team any time. Great hands. Great blocker. Almost always breaks the first tackle. Still fast enough to get open. Said to be a great locker room guy. LimJahey

Bigblue204
I'm gonna have to take some credit for his play throughout his career! In his rookie season when he was playing in CanadInns we were talking trash back and forth and I told him to watch how Stegall plays and take notes (as Stegall was a real Rec and Nik was a bum) I'm assuming he listened to me....you're welcome Lewis. Brandon
I would hire Lewis... as a receivers coach. Guy definitely is a good team player.
