I can't speak for anyone else, but the reason I want to see Marve start is I want to see what he can do, not because I'm sold on him. I got to spend a bit of time in training camp last year, and from watching him throw wanted to see him get some meaningful time last year which he didn't. That's carried over to this year, still curious about his ability. On the other hand, getting to see Brohm play hasn't sold me on him. So I'd prefer to see Marve get a chance. So people wanting to see Marve play I think has as much or more to do with not wanting to see Brohm on the field as it does with being sold on Marve as a better option.

So through 1.5 weeks I have determined the best strategy would be for me to make my picks, and then reverse all of them.

Considering the outrage of Jets fans blaming the Bombers on the cancellation of the Heritage Classic, and all the negativity surrounding the stadium, that's pretty impressive. ???I never heard about any of this? The Bombers cancelled the Heritage Classic? Personally I think it's stupid to call something a "classic" before it's even been played, and I also think that paying $300 for the privilege of sitting in a stsdium in -40C to watch a bunch of millionaires skating around at half speed is just stupid. It wasn't that it was cancelled, the parties involved couldn't agree on a date. I believe the bombers didn't want to give them a date in December because of the proximity to the Grey Cup and worries about people spending their money to go to the hockey game instead of the Grey cup. The NHL and the Jets didn't want a Jan/Feb date because of temperature concerns. That's the basics of the situation as I recall.

So I tend to not watch many games in person, enjoy watching from the couch. This year I've decided to go to a few games. Planning for July 25th in Edmonton, September 20th in Montreal and October 10th in BC. So looking for opinions on where you like to sit and why. So far I'm going 55 yard line in the upper deck (about 15 rows into upper deck) in Edmonton, should get a good view of the entire field from there. Haven't bought tickets for BC or Montreal yet, have details to work out for those trips, but hoping to get to those games as well. As a side note, I may need to buy a new Jersey as I really only have a Doug Brown Jersey, open to suggestions on jerseys as well.

CFL.ca has more balanced highlights of the game. TSN is a disgrace. Tsn showed ONE play of ours. What a joke that channel is. I refuse to insult TSN after having to watch the NHL draft on sportsnet. Nothing TSN can do will make me as sad as having to watch sportsnet

why - he did. Not purposefully - he caught his toe and Durant tried to pull his foot up out of the way - that's how he snapped it. Tough break - really tough break. I like Durant - he's a great competitor and a fantastic talent - great for the league. every replay I saw peach was 3 feet away and didn't come close to stepping on him

I would assume that with 5 channels if they wanted to broadcast the game they already would have been. I haven't checked the schedule, but I assume they didn't have 5 different things scheduled. With that said, I will hold out a small amount of hope that they'll broadcast it, but not expecting it.

It starts and ends with fifa thinking wade is a soccer ball and kicking him into a net while screaming goooaaaaaall. I was with you, right up to the point where you insinuated that the soccer ball ever actually gets kicked into the net in a soccer game.

I went to one day of training camp last year and was sitting in front of the media guys for about 45 minutes. They spent basically the entire time bitching about photo radar. Didn't hear one comment related to football and got no inclination they were paying any attention. So I find it pretty easy to believe this year is more of the same.

After going to a bomber game in Calgary I'll take the debt on a nice stadium over ever watching another game at Mcmahon. The only good thing was there were so many empty seats people could spread out, where we were I can't imagine how terribly uncomfortable trying to get an ass in each seat on the benches as marked would have been. I only compare to Calgary since ISO has two kinds of posts, ones where he ******* about the bombers, and ones where he tells us how much better Calgary is at doing things than the bombers.

Hiring Lapolice is the one thing they could do that might make me consider not watching any games.

the parts of the game I watched they talked about him playing with a hand injury, a hamstring injury and I think a third leg related injury. The hand injury was obvious, and at times he did seem to favour his leg after plays from what I saw.

Just watching the game now and I"m bewildered as to why there was no review?? or challenge in response to no review? It was reviewed. All turnovers are automatically reviewed. About that no-challenge or non-reviewed would've been interception on that ball that bounced off the Als' player's shoe and got picked. Problem was the refs didn't rule that as an interception, hence why it was probably not automatically reviewed. Should've been Ottawa ball though. the replay they showed as it went to commercial showed the ball was up off the shoe but it wasn't caught after that, it bounced off the turf.
