I don't expect anything from someone with a brain injury. I expect the coaching staff to do the right thing for the player's health and safety, With what we know about concussions these days, there's no excuse for those guys to be back out there that quickly.
Tua Tagovailoa is great example of money before a persons health.

We should have a WHL team but we know how that worked out. They could have played at the canada Life Center the way the Hit Men share the Saddledome with the Flames & Wranglers but Chipman didn't want them. Also, someone bring me up to speed but why couldn't the arena for the Ice ever get built?
lack of funds...lol

NFL Canada awards youth football programs $75,000 through inaugural Forward Pass contribution
Notta lotta money, can't see why the CFL can't do things like this. $75k split 3 ways, one of the teams that received a $25k donation was the North Winnipeg Nomads Football Club.
I believe the Bombers help out minor football. Some of the money is the proceeds of the 50/50 sales.

Hope Buck took his decoy plays with him to BC and we actually deploy CS more than just short yardage and gimmick plays. Reasonable?
He wasn't the same after the Ottawa game. Think he was hurt.

Dakota just received the biggest fine in MHSAA history for recruiting and their head coach resigned. He also coaches LB’s with the Bisons but it was a pretty big shock.
He could be back but all we have is that if he comes back to the CFL this year he has to play for us. He could get cut and sit and wait for the next NFL call until 2026 if he wants.
JV or Varsity coach?

No CC I believe he was head coach from late 90’s to about 2008 they won a bunch of championships so he went to go coach high school ball for some new start up programs before retiring from coaching.
JL was my head coach starting in mid 80's. Man I'm getting old.....

Tough losing 640 yards for 300k and an oline ppl **** on most the year.
We lacked a big play/deep threat when he wasn't in the line up. 640 yards in 9.5 games. 16.1 yard average. Who will be his replacement?

There is a ton of talent available. Go to the FA listings. Better than what we had? Such as who? Lawler's 800 yards last year? Haba and Garbutt's nothing....what exactly are you concerned about replacing? We effectively swapped Lawler for Schoen....that's a win in my books. Brought in Mitchell for Wilson....saw off....Vaughters for Haba/Garbutt....win for us. What has your **** in a bunch? You are so consumed with the JT resigning that you are not looking at the whole picture imo. It's kind of crazy because the one massive loss we took this offseason in Ford is the one you seem least concerned about.
"swapped Lawler for Schoen....that's a win in my books"....I would have preferred the opposite.

Embarrassing to lose to a back up qb in the grey cup

What a wasted opportunity

Should have put in Dolegala not Wilson.

I think tho that's what we want more times than not...keep the qb in pocket to try and beat our blanket coverage...and hope he swats one...they are consciously trying to keep qb in middle of pocket
I'm really worried about Arbuckle running. Need pressure on him.

Get the ball to Demski. Should be some open spots over the middle.

He doesn't have to do a damn thing but stand in there and not turn it over. He makes no difference... Nor did Kelly. It's their Lines (especially the DL) that determine the game...
He still has to make some plays and move the ball to get some points. If pressured he could throw a pick or two.

Many times Championship games come down to special teams. Janarion Grant? Hope not.

Beg to differ.
I don't read Winnipeg as a blitzing defence really, but if you're up against a backup in the big game it would basically be dereliction of duty for Younger not to go after him early and often.
Arbuckle isn't a rookie so not expecting the Bombers to go after him too much. Conventional thinking is go after him. Guess we will find out.

Random shower thought question; how do you think Winnipeg is game planning vs Toronto?
Im praying they'll be giving Zach immense protection, as I assume Toronto will be loading up that Dline all game.
Im hoping Younger and Hall are going to try and get to Arbuckle often with many blitzes, rattle him early, knock him out of sync.
Not expecting too many blitzes. Didn't blitz much against Harris and he was more of a threat to pick a D apart when not pressured.
I would prefer to see pressure but that doesn't seem to be Younger's MO. We do have a strong secondary....JY and Hall know what they're doing.

Toronto scares the **** outta me because the QB is irrelevant. Kelly did not determine an ounce of their success. That defense is everything for them and they can ABSOLUTELY beat us with anyone under centre.
And once again, we have NEVER beaten Toronto in a Grey Cup, in the 100+ years of its existence.
The will have a hard time beating us with Arbuckle under centre.

Both teams have pure pocket passers.
The one who has less steamboats made to be uncomfortable in their reads and/or is flushed out of that pocket will be going home.
Brady also needs to get more than 50 yards. Oline needs to step it up! Lack of pressure by our dline all year is concerning.
