I watched like 10 minutes of that video b4 i got bored as hell but the one thing, is that ken king? the one thing he kept saying over and over and over and over is... a PUBLIC fieldhouse... to be used 365 days a year. Pretty evident he was letting it be known that this is being built with the PUBLIC in mind... Yup, it's CFL stadium and a hockey arena but... it's mainly gonna be used as a Public facility... Lets just break something down really quick.. Stamps play 9 home games a year... Flames play 41 or 42 i think... Lets include playoffs and add, let's just say a nice easy round rumber..20 more dates in total.... 51 + 20 = 71. For the remaining damn near 300 days of the year.. it's a public facility. Thought mentioning Public facility over and over was smart.

I'm not sure why some people are against public funding for these places tho, Like the star trek guy said... creates jobs, brings in lots of money for the economy. That's honestly why i never understood those who had an issue with IGF being publically funded. Man, if people actually stepped back and look at some of the crap our tax dollars goes too, I don't think they would be complaining about sports teams getting funding either. Pro Sports teams gives your city an identity... Man, look at the JETS, they left and a small part, a large part even of this cities identity left with them.... They were brought back and a part of our identity returned. Sports is huge, does more good than harm thats for sure. If i was in charge, I'd fund every damn arena and stadium proposal possible with tax payers money.

Reading some posts on here... and then people wonder why nobody wants to come coach here. Seriously. The impatience and the outright just ridiculousness shown in some of these posts is insane. You think eventually people would learn that being patient is actually the way to go instead of firing people every year or 2. Seriously, The Bombers have a good foundation and they aren't as terrible as well 1 person makes them out to be, they aren't the ticats but really.. the ticats were in this exact position a few short years ago... MOS deserves more time really, he's a young coach learning on the job, give him his starting QB back and a proper OC that maybe he wants to bring in instead of a guy basically forced on him, then see what happens. Fire MOS and you know what happens? MB is the coach.

He won't be getting called up again more than likely. Not sure why Patrice Cormier is even being talked about to be completely honest. He's not gonna be a part of the Jets roster anytime soon. He's gonna be a Moose this year and if he shows well, maybe a Moose next year. He's actually at the point in his career where it's pretty much AHL or nothing for him. As depth? Sure but if it ever comes to having to call up Cormier to play more than 3 or 4 minutes a game, we are in trouble. Plus, reality is you don't want your 4th line to play 3 or 4 minutes a game, you want them to be able to play more... I'm sure Maurice would love it if he had 4 lines he can roll out night in and night out and this year we may see that... That 4th line tho won't including Cormier, I'd be shocked if he's called up once this year.

The General Public and Medias opinion mean nothing, there is a reason he only play 3 or 4 minutes a night. It's cuz he wasn't very good. He's an AHL'er. He is what he is. He's been passed by many of the Jets prospects now, guys they drafted themselves. It was shocking to lots of people that they even offered Cormier a contract this off-season. It's a 2 way tho so he's gonna be a Moose for 99 percent of the year. Guarantee he's not on the opening roster and i'd be honestly shocked if he even got called up by the Jets again.

6 or 7 years is what I've been told. Ladd is a top LW in the game, He's very under rated by some people it seems. Who knows what the contract will break down to look like tho. Just saying don't be surprised if it's for big money. Guy was on a pretty sweetheart deal of 4.4 million a year currently. He's gonna get a raise, The term is guaranteed to be 6 or 7 years.

So they are, both 92 births. Odd, could swear Goossen was much younger. Still think he's being groomed to play Center and was drafted to be the Center eventually.

I think if the bombers sign him, He's gonna play MLB... no way the take out Bass who is a machine and getting better every game.

There is a little rumor going around that the Jets and Ladd have agreed to a contract extension and it will be announced when he is back in Winnipeg around August 25th for a charity golf tournament.. some rumors suggest 7 years 49 million. Take it for what it's worth tho.. same people are saying they aren't close with Buff and it's very likely he will be moved prior to the start of the season.

And again.... Ray is hurt and was hurt to start the year, if we would have got him, he'd be sitting on our IR right now just like he is in Toronto. Bombers were pretty active in free agency, signed a bunch of guys, probably the most active team really, not sure what more they could have done. Trading for an injured Ricky Ray when you have Drew Willy wasn't gonna ever happen, not in the real world or in fantasy land.

To be fair to Simmons, it seems like he'd rather be playing on a team not as good as the stamps then not playing. I dunno if i can fault a guy for that type of attitude. Like others have mentioned, careers are short, he isn't being paid tons however it is only for about 5 months but still.... he's not making millions... I have some respect for the guy seeing as tho he could have just sucked it up and dealt with it but the guy wants to play... He wants to play and i don't think theres anything wrong with that. I would have concerns tho about what happens if he plays and isn't good and is then relegated to backup or not playing again...

I'll be totally honest tho here... I could care less who wins the election in the states. It's interesting for maybe a week or 2 and then you realize, well they are just the same as everyone else. Trump can say what he wants really, part of me thinks he is there to just rile people up, dude is old, very old, i don't see him winning but... really what probably would happen if he won is NOTHING. Just like Obama promised change, Trump is doing the same and years later, here we are all over again. It's a cycle of bs over and over and over again.

I think comparing Goossen and Chungh would be valid. Chungh is not yet a dominant player by any means, yet he was deemed good enough to start right out of the draft, but Goossen is still not ready for prime time. So what does that say about him? It says that he's probably being mentored a bit by Picard and is going to be our center of the future, isn't Chungh much older than Goossen? Thought Goossen was only like 22 or something and Chungh is what? 25 26? Gooossen IMO was drafted to play center for us, they signed picard to mentor him for a year. Not sure comparing a natural guard to a natural center is a valid comparison actually and not to mention the difference in age there too. and Honestly, when Goossen has had to go in and play, thought he's looked pretty decent... Honestly, i'd rather play him at center and let Picard go now but... they won't do that.
